Fish Balls & Fried Noodles For Dinner

Today is Christmas Eve. Merry Christmas to those who are celebrating Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone.

Right time to share the Sunset Bells from my garden.
These were taken before the rainy season.
Beautiful blooms, just nice for Christmas & New Year 2023.

For dinner, we went to Pusat Makanan MXII,
#9, Jalan Dato Tahwil Azhar, Taman Jubilee, 30300 Ipoh.
We ordered 8 fish balls (sai toh yu tan or yellow tail snapper).
Flat rice noodle or koay teow with egg gravy.
Doesn't look nice but tastes good.
Fried flat rice noodle (koay teow) + rice vermicelli (beehoon).
This was our dinner for 4 people which costs less than RM50.

To your enemy, forgiveness.
To an opponent, tolerance.
To a friend, your heart.
To a customer, service.
To all, charity.
To every child, a good example.
To yourself, respect."

Christmas Eve Dinner 2020 At Jimms Cafe, Ipoh

For Christmas eve (yesterday), we had 2 places in mind for dinner. It was only when we got into the car, the choice for dinner was made. It was to be Jimms Cafe, 29a, Jalan Pengkalan Barat, Taman Kar King, Ipoh. We just had lunch here with another friend a few days earlier. We don't mind going back again as there are many more choices which we haven't tried.

Inside of Jimms Cafe.
Most of the tables were taken and we were thankful that we could get a table for 4 people.
Roast chicken, vegetables and gravy.
A nice young gentleman approached our table and recommended the above roast chicken which is a special item just for 2 days only (24th and 25th December).
As usual, the camera has to "eat" first. Our friend cheekily lifted up the chicken for the camera. Lol!
We also ordered the above prawns with crispy noodle to share.
To round up the dinner, we were served this cocktail ice cream that came with the roast chicken set.
Our Christmas eve dinner ended on a sweet note.
Good food and a wonderful fellowship.

the one is Justice and the other Righteousness.
Mercy and Truth walk before you as your attendants.
Blessed are those who hear the joyful blast of the trumpet,
for they shall walk in the light of your presence.
