Our Cruise Holiday On The SuperStar Libra Has Come To An End

The night before we made sure all our bags were packed. We gathered for a buffet breakfast at the Chinese restaurant and this time I remembered to take some snapshots of what I ate for breakfast.
I started off with a little bit of this and that to taste.
Pork ribs, fried noodle, fried rice, sambal hard boiled egg and
I think 2 meat balls? (can't remember what...).
1 steamed veggie roll and 1 steamed bun.
2nd round, took a little porridge with some additional pork rib & 1 meat ball.
Morning sun at 8.20 am.
8.30 am - approaching the Penang cruise terminal.

One more time passing this passageway.
Getting ready to disembark the ship.

8.35 am - morning sun
9.07 am

After loading our luggage into the car, we drove to Gurney Plaza. The youngsters wanted to have something to eat at the MacDonald before the adults had their laksa noodle at Air Itam.
1.00 pm - crossing the Penang bridge.
Not much traffic.
Thank God for smooth and safe drive all the way home to Ipoh.
Thank God for a safe and wonderful cruise holiday too!

The following photos are for joining Tuesday's Treasures & Image-in-ing.
I found these treasures at the Makan Nyonya Cafe.
Remember these Dutch Lady condensed milk tins?
A traditional Baba Nyonya costume jewelry.

The same goes for you wives:
Be good wives to your husbands, responsive to their needs.
There are husbands who, indifferent as they are to any words about God,
will be captivated by your life of holy beauty.
What matters is not your outer appearance -
the styling of your hair, the jewelry you wear,
the cut of your clothes - but your inner disposition.

Gala Cocktail Party & Birthday Celebration On The SuperStar Libra Cruise Ship

After getting back on board the cruise ship after our short excursion on Phuket island, we had some time for a short rest, and then we got ready for the Gala Cocktail Party dinner.
Being entertained with songs and music while resting.
Getting seated at our table in the restaurant.
Taking some snapshots for sweet memories.
And then it was time to enjoy our dinner on this special evening.
These were served first.
This aunty only recognised the one on the left - some kind of butter.
I am not able to give you the description, so I will just show the picture.
Hubby's salad which included lychee, grapes, etc.
My salad - which included grilled chicken, cheese, etc.
Hubby's soup - I think it was some kind of mushroom soup.
My soup - with onions, a piece of bread, etc.
Both hubby and I ordered this main course - grilled lamb
Some of our friends ordered this seafood main course.
Our dessert
Nice yummy cake.
Presentation by the crew members
And this aunty got a special surprise!
Presentation of her birthday cake and birthday song by some of the crew members.
And this was signed by the Captain of the SuperStar Libra!
A big thank you to every member of the cruise ship that made this happened!
Cutting of the birthday cake with hubby.
Thank you to SuperStar Libra for making this birthday a very memorable one. I had never expected such a wonderful birthday celebration on my first cruise holiday!
Sunset shot taken from our dining table.
Here ends our last dinner on board the cruise ship.
As the sun sets for another night, this will be our last night on board the ship.

As you read over what I have written to you,
you'll be able to see for yourselves into the mystery of Christ.
None of our ancestors understood this.
Only in our time has it been made clear by God's Spirit through his holy apostles
and prophets of this new order.
The mystery is that people who have never heard of God
and those who have heard of him all their lives
(what I've been calling outsiders and insiders)
stand on the same ground before God.
They get the same offer, same help, same promises in Christ Jesus.
The Message is accessible and welcoming to everyone, across the board.

Stopping At Jungceylon Shopping Complex, Phuket - 4th Day Cruise Holiday.

The tour bus took us to the Jungceylon Shopping Complex at Patong. Before we alighted from the bus, we were told to return to the bus by a certain time and if we were late, the bus will not wait for us and we will have to take a "Tuk Tuk" transport to get us back to Patong Beach. Some shopaholics may get so carried away and forget the time!
2.20 pm - We can find something to eat here.
The bus will be waiting for us here in front of the Big C Extra Supermarket.
This is the modern "Tuk Tuk" version (in red).
From the Big C Extra supermarket, we walked to the Robinson Department Store.
Inside the Jungceylon Shopping Complex.

The female tour guide leading the way.
Caught sight of the older version of "Tuk Tuk" transport inside the department store.
Inside the store, there is a food court where we ordered something to eat.
I didn't take any picture of the tom yam noodle and beef balls.
After lunch, we did some window shopping and came across these scary aliens.
They even have scary red eyes.
A big tricycle

A colourful clown twisting some balloons.
Little girl and mommy waiting for the balloon.
These seniors also want to have a free sugar candy!
He got a cute yellow sugar kitty!
A purple bear, a pink kitty and a brown monkey!
All of us got back onto the bus on time, so none was left behind!
Back at Patong Beach
The boat was waiting to take us back to the cruise ship.
Before we left Patong Beach, took another snapshot of these messy power cables.
4.15 pm - walking on the bridge to the boat waiting for us.
Snapshots from the bridge
Patong Beach
When will we see you again?
Goodbye to Phuket!
Here ends our short excursion on Phuket island.

The following photos are for joining Saturday's Critters.
These critters pictures were taken at a nursing home in Ipoh
A mother hen on a plank and 2 geese on the ground.
During the day, these watch dogs are caged and let loose when night falls.
This little doggie is so very fierce.
These chickens are free to roam within the enclosure.

Linking to Saturday's Critters.

You are free from the law,
but that doesn't mean you are free to do wrong.
Live as those who are free to do only God's will at all times.
