Our friend just returned from a trip to China and on Sunday night, he gave a thanksgiving dinner for safe journey throughout the whole trip. He invited my hubby and I and also their friend who is back from England for a holiday. He picked Rainbow Seafood Restaurant to hold the thanksgiving dinner.

On arrival we saw that the place is packed with customers. We didn't have to worry because a table has already been booked for us. Not only did he booked a table, he also booked 2 lobsters for dinner. He wanted to book 3 lobsters but the restaurant has only 2 lobsters left.

After waiting for quite some time, our lobster dish arrived at our table. The lobsters were cooked in special sauce.

There were 5 of us but only 4 halves of lobster. Our generous friend and wife insisted that we, their guests, each take one half of lobster and they shared one half between themselves.
This is the first time I have tasted lobster meat. I had thought that lobster meat is tough. I was proven wrong. The lobster's meat was tender and sweet and cooked in tasty special sauce. And there's plenty of lobster roe too. Overall, it was very tasty and very delicious, hmm...yum, yum...fingers licking good!
To enjoy our lobster, we have to abandon our fork and spoon to use our hands.
Next dish - Deep Fried Cod Fish. Outside was crispy, the inside flesh was very tender and fluffy. First time I have tasted deep fried cod fish, usually it was steamed.
Baby French Beans stir-fried with garlic.
