When I heard from my friend about this pesticide free Lettuce, I was interested and I ordered one through this friend of mine. One plant is sold for RM 10. This pot of Lettuce was delivered to my friend's house 3 days before the Chinese New Year celebration. Since I needed to collect the pot of lettuce from her house, we had breakfast together with another friend before picking up the lettuce.
The lettuce was wrapped with newspaper to protect it before being delivered.
Pots of Lettuce growing in the Pesticide Free Farm.
My friend sent me these photos.
My friend sent me these photos.
Rows and rows of healthy lettuce grown from seeds.
This is ready for consumption.
The farm also grows Petunia plants.
Hoping to visit this farm in the future to take lots of snapshots.
Pretty Petunia blooms in sweet colours.
I would have enjoyed more working in this type of farm instead of in an office. Ha ha!
We ate this Lettuce raw. We used it as wraps for the Yam Bean or sengkuang dish shown below.
My simple yam bean filling for the Pie Tee or Top Hat shells.
We also ate this wrapped with the lettuce leaves.
Wouldn't it be wonderful if I can grow this in my own garden?
I would love to try if I can get some seeds.

Plant the good seeds of righteousness,
and you will reap a crop of my love;
plow the hard ground of your hearts,
for now is the time to seek the Lord,
that he may come and shower salvation upon you.
