As usual, my day starts with an early morning walk, watering my plants in the garden, and if it is still early I might do some weeding in the garden. Then most of the day I will be staying indoors, doing whatever housework that needs my attention.
Due to the current heat wave in some states and ours is included, we are advised to stay indoors and to drink more water because of the excessive sweating.
One late afternoon, our friend sent us these pictures and informed us that they saw a snake in their compound. The heat could have caused the snake to come out of its habitat. The fire fighters were called to catch the snake.
Someone had been keeping a close watch on the snake and saw the snake slithered into a hollow steel pipe which is part of the framework of the outdoor extension.
After trying many ways to get the snake out of the steel pipe, the fire fighters left without catching the snake. Until now, no one knows what happened to the snake. It could have slithered away when no one unnoticed or it could have died inside the pipe.

Our friends wanted to have dinner at a new place known as Huan He Lai Seafood Restaurant at 69, Lengkok Desa Rishah 1, Desa Rishah, Ipoh. Much to our delight, part of the restaurant is air-con.
Sweet potato leaves stir fried with fermented beancurd or fu yu.
Steamed Tilapia fish with savoury sauce
I think this is the pork belly with salted fish cooked in clay pot.
Or was it chicken or pork rib? Oh dear, I am getting forgetful!
We usually ordered 3 dishes for 4 people but that evening, our friend wanted to try another dish. Half way through our dinner, we added another dish.
3 cups chicken dish in clay pot - small portion.
