Harvested My Homemade Glutinous Rice Wine

I managed to capture some nice morning sky shots last Monday morning on our morning walk. The photos were taken both on the East and West side as we walked.

Back home after the morning walk.
White Dwarf Mexican Petunia.
Making glutinous rice wine for home consumption.
I managed to harvest the above amount of rice wine after 40 days.
Keeping them in the fridge for future cooking purposes.
Residue from the rice wine.
Can be used for cooking meat dishes.
Thick sweet crunchy Jackfruit from our friend.
While I was busy extracting the rice wine from the residue, hubby went out to buy lunch and came back with KFC Tandoori chicken. I was surprised because I didn't expect him to buy KFC. Anyway, it was a pleasant surprise.

Jesus replied, "What I am telling you so earnestly is this:
Unless one is born of water and the Spirt,
he cannot enter the Kingdom of God.
Men can only reproduce human life,
but the Holy Spirit gives new life from heaven;
so don't be surprised at my statement that you must be born again.

Glutinous Rice Wine & Bak Kut Teh Soup

As usual, we stopped by one of our regular coffee shop after our morning walk. Before we could sit down, our friend handed over the sweet cakes or Nyonya kuih to us. Our day started off with sweet cakes or kuih. When I was young, I do not like sweet things but as I get older, I am not so fussy.

We ordered a bowl of herbal tea and a cup of unsweetened kopi-c.
With all these sweet cakes from our friend, we needn't order any other food.
We passed by these pigeons on our walk home after breakfast.
Be careful never to walk under these birds.
Cleome Spider flower in my garden.
As the plant grow taller, the flowers continue to bloom.
Later the seeds will disperse and self propagate.
I was attracted to these 2 birds up on the tree top by their loud chirping.
They were happily singing aloud to each other in the cool morning.
Very soon, I will be harvesting glutinous rice wine from these 2 bottles. It doesn't look like much.

For dinner I cooked Bak Kut Teh or Pork Rib Herbal Soup.
Ingredients for cooking the above soup:
1 packet of herbs, pork ribs, tofu puffs, mushrooms, red dates, goji berries, and some salt to taste. This is our 1 dish dinner without any rice or noodle.

"Good salt is worthless if it loses its saltiness;
it can season anything.
So don't lose your flavor!
Live in peace with each other."
