Friday Lunch At Lanna Thai Restaurant, Soho Ipoh.

The alarm clock woke me up on a Friday morning. Then another the reminder app on my smartphone sounded the alarm to remind me of a lunch gathering with my old friends. These days, I tend to rely on the reminder app to help me remember all my appointment dates.

Simple Lunch At Ting Hao Restaurant, Ipoh.

Last Sunday, we agreed to meet up at Jaya Jusco department store where they needed to do some shopping for the night's hot pot dinner. After having bought all that we needed, we moved on to look for something to fill our tummies. We decided on Ting Hao restaurant, which hubby and I have been once before and we have totally forgotten about this place.

Once seated, we each made our own choice and ordered what we each wanted to eat. Altogether, there were 7 of us.
My hubby and a friend ordered this Sambal Petai Rice (spicy stinking bean rice) @ MYR 9.00 (approx. 2.21 USD)
A friend ordered this normal Fried Rice @ MYR 7.00 (approx. 1.72 USD)
A friend ordered this "Mui Fun" (rice topped with silky savoury gravy) @ MYR 7.00 (approx. 1.72 USD)
2 friends ordered this Stir Fried Loh Shu Fun (silver needle noodle) @ MYR 7.00 (approx. 1.72 USD)
And I ordered a Pineapple Fried Rice with a tinge of spiciness of curry spices @ MYR 7.50 (approx. 1.84 USD)

The following photos are for joining Saturday's Critters.
Took this snapshot of this white bird at a traffic light.
Lately, we have been seeing many of this bird in Ipoh.
I do not know the name of this bird.
Found this yellow grasshopper in my friend's garden.
It didn't fly away even when I went close with my cell phone.
Saw this pair of birds on the power cable behind my garden.
