Growing A New Tomato Specie In My Garden

I brought back some tomatoes from my last trip to Cameron Highlands. The tomatoes were bigger than the cherry tomatoes and I took some seeds from a tomato to sow in my garden.
I wanted to try because the tomatoes were of a different specie.
Tomato plants are prone to pest, especially the white powdery type of pest.
My tomato plants started off very healthy.
 They started to flowers.
A close up of the pretty yellow tomato flowers.
Due to the heavy rain and insufficient fertilizer, plants yielded very few tomatoes.
The tomatoes could be easily counted. There were lots of flowers but very few tomatoes.
Can you see the green veins on the tomato?
A beautiful gold tomato!
From gold to orang red with green veins.
From the plant to the mouth.
From these batch, I only managed to harvest a handful of tomatoes.
All too soon, the tomato plants were infested with this white pests. I waited for the rest of the tomatoes on the plants to ripen before I pulled out the diseased plants.

Linking to Floral Bliss

As far as God is concerned
there is a sweet, wholesome frangrance in our lives.
It is the fragrance of Christ within us,
an aroma to both the saved and the unsaved all around us.
(2 Corinthians 2:15, The Living Bible-TLB)
