Roast Black Pepper Chicken For Lunch & Dinner

After 69 days under MCO, some of us are eager to resume their normal life such as going out to dine in restaurants and meeting up with friends. There are some who want to play safe by avoiding public places as much as possible. We do miss eating out with friends and taking short local holidays together. We are thankful that we can stay connected with one another using our Whatsapp Group Chat.
Break of dawn at 6:45 am
6:53 am - started our walk.

Breakfast
Hubby went out on his motorbike to buy breakfast.
He bought nasi lemak and 2 fried chinese doughnuts with sticky rice in the center (karp chung in Cantonese).
Hubby ate the nasi lemak and kept the Chinese doughnuts for mid morning tea.
I ate 2 toasted bread spread with home made peanut walnut butter and kaya. Both of us had hot green tea.
Hubby finished the nasi lemak but left behind some sambal sauce. I didn't want to waste the sambal sauce and it was a good excuse to have another piece of toasted bread spread with the sambal sauce. Now I am full and very satisfied!

Lunch
I thawed the roast black pepper chicken and re-baked it in the oven.
We each had a whole chicken leg for lunch and kept the rest of the chicken for dinner.

Dinner
I cooked this meatless dish, consisting of yam bean (sengkuang) with carrot, fresh mushrooms and home grown spring onions.
I cooked 1 dried Cintan noodle for hubby, mixed with some garlic oil, oyster and soy sauce. Hubby ate only half the amount of chicken and the rest went to my plate.
What happened to the chicken meat that went to my plate? I shredded the meat and together with the yam bean I made chapati wrap.
Yums!
I will be making wraps with the rest of the frozen chapati.
I kept the rest of the yam bean dish in the fridge.
These were shredded and kept in the fridge to make chapati wraps.
This sculpture was found at the Gopeng Gaharu Tea Valley.
Not sure whether it is wood or something that looks like wood.
Saw this golf set at the Sunday Flea Market in June, 2019.
For the time being, Flea Market not allowed under the MCO.

because of your love.
