#3 HOLIDAY IN HOI AN, ANCIENT HERITAGE VILLAGE OF VIETNAM

Lately, I have been very busy catching up with the many things to do. Could it be that I have been procrastinating or just being slow in the things I needed to do?

Okay, today will be the final posting on my sister's holiday trip in Vietnam. Click here and here for the two previous postings. Again, all these are photo credit from my sister and nephew.
Dining by the road side is a common sight.

Perhaps this may be the best way to sample authentic Vietnamese food?

Dinners sitting on low stools and eating from low tables.

A classy restaurant with a private beach.

Beautiful landscaped path to the beach front.

Dining by the sea side by day.

Same place, 'magical transformation' by night.

Market place.

A typical Asian village by day.

The "happening" place, where tourists converge night after night to hang out, and to chill out at the restaurants, pubs, cafes, shops, etc.

Tourists' haven by night.

A typical night scene by the riverside.

There is a river of joy flowing through the city of our God -

the sacred home of the God above all gods.

(Psalm 46:4, The Living Bible-TLB)

  1. Nancy it seems Vietnam is a country full of contrasts. The poor and the rich live together. But is an interesting place

  2. Very lovely. So many beautiful scenes. I like the French influence in the city and the many green trees and pretty lights. It looks like an awful lot of tourists all over too.

  12. Vietnam appears to be two different places, the beautiful but the poor. Is it really like this? All of their photos were fantastic. Thank you for showing me a place I'll probably never go to. It's quite different, isn't it?
Have a wonderful Sunday. See ya.

  13. I like the beautiful greens in the path to the beach. When I was in Hanoi, I did not dare to eat from the roadside stalls that have those low stools and low tables. Would you dare to sit and eat there?
