Steamed Minced Pork Buns & Fried Rempah Chicken Wings

Yesterday was 29th day MCO, the first day of 3rd phase MCO (15th - 28th April). I woke up too late to catch the sunrise. Hubby went out to buy breakfast for us and we both ordered from the same noodle stall in our area.
Herbal wine chicken pan mee for hubby @ RM 6.
Plain pan mee for me @ RM 5.
It was a satisfying and filling breakfast.

While hubby was repainting the back door and grill, I made steamed buns.
Steamed minced pork buns (sang yoke pau).
I used a mixture of wholemeal flour and all purpose flour.
 Delicious buns for our lunch.

Dinner
Deep fried pre-marinated chicken wings with assorted spices (rempah-rempah).
 Sauteed broccoli and oyster mushrooms.
Hubby had a bowl of rice porridge.
I didn't want any porridge.
Single layer petal yellow hibiscus from my garden.
My sun loving hibiscus plants have been flowering non-stop.

The sun crosses the heavens from end to end,
and nothing can hide from its heat.

  7. Now I want to make and eat buns. Haha. Still have some paos flour left, one if these days. Maybe this weekend. My man is much better in making and kneading the dough. He did most of the work in paos making in previous 3 attempts.
