Struggling With Poor Appetite

On this particular morning, hubby suggested going out to town for breakfast for a change.

Sunrise at 7:43am.
Our weather is getting warmer with less rain.
I have nothing in particular that I wanted to eat. Just looking for something in clear soup just to fill my tummy.
I ordered flat rice noodle with bbq pork (char siew) in clear soup while hubby ordered curry noodle (dry version). I managed to finish the noodle as the amount was not big but the bbq pork was a bit hard.
~~~~~
For lunch, I had a small bowl of plain rice porridge with some vegetables at the chap fan stall in my area.
After lunch, I had some freshly cut papaya. The taste of the sweet juicy papaya was so soothing to my taste buds and throat.
For dinner, I was looking forward to having some hot soup but that evening the soup was not to my liking. So we ordered the above dishes.
 I managed to finish a small portion of white rice with a little bit of the above dishes. Hubby had to finish the remaining. Thanks to hubby for his patience having to bear with my weird appetite. I felt like I am going through a period of morning sickness. This is worse than what I experienced when I was expecting my 2 kids.
10 birds on the line.
This was in front of my house. Which are birds and which are not?
Look at the birds!
They don't worry about what to eat - they don't need to sow
or reap or store up food - for your heavenly Father feeds them.
And you are far more valuable to him than they are.
(Matthew 6:26, The Living Bible-TLB)
  7. Hello Nancy :=)
    I'm sorry your appetite is poor, boiled food is best to eat just in case you have picked up a tummy buck. Nice morning skies and images of birds,
    Get well soon
    All the best.
  8. Birds, and especially doves, provide such a good variety of photos!
    After having a period of 'easy eating' (soup, fruit, veggies), you'll feel much better.
  9. I'm just as curious as Angie. I agree with what Duta says.
    Maybe for a while it is not convenient for you to eat outside your house.
    A hug and speedy recovery.
  11. Same here, not been eating well since I've been unwell, no appetite. Eating mostly fruits but I needed the protein so I have to take chicken essence and eggs every morning for the strength. Generally, very weak. Dunno if I am ever going to get better or not.
  12. I also hasn't been eating much lately. I can eat well in the morning but come afternoon and night, I take very little for lunch and dinner. My mil suggested maybe it because I am experiencing early symptom of menopause. But touch wood, I have my menstrual regularly every month. But I did noticed that since last year my menstrual getting lesser. In the last, it was around 5 -6 days but now it finishes by 4-5 days. I guess hormonal changes do affect appetite as I don't feel like eating especially when it is dinner time.
  13. Thank you Nancy for writing this post even though you don't have appetite to eat. On Thu I also don't have any appetite to eat so I just drank water and did water fasting for 45 hours. Do you have any idea why you don't have any appetite to eat?
    1. It is probably due to my bad gastric problem and wind. I shouldn't have delay treatment, I hope I will get back to normal soon.
  18. I liked seeing the birds on power lines. I see them often when driving and it's cold. There's doves in our area that fly around close to a road. Praying you feel better soon. 🙏 🌷I prefer brown rice with food. God bless you both.
  23. Dear Nancy sorry for the the appetite issue.
    I don't know how old you are. I am fifty and I have realized huge change in my appetite already. I am eating less than half of what I have been eating before.
    I believe it started to happen after gallbladder surgery.
    I hope you feel better soon.
