Hi, I am back again after I have finished the 3rd chemo cycle in hospital where I stayed 4 days and 3 nights.
A friend shared with me the following sky shot over her house one evening that she took.
Photo credited to Marie.
Elder son was home the week before I went for my 3rd chemo treatment. He brought back a fish from his fishing trip and specially have it steamed for our dinner one evening. It was very well done and we enjoyed the steamed fish.

Another friend shared 2 photos of some kind of moth and 2 photos of her rescued bird with me. Photos credited to Aislynn.
Strange looking moth she found in her house.
She shared that it looks like some rattan weaving stuff.
The bird that she rescued and nursed back to health. It has gotten very comfortable with it human family that it choses to stay.
It follows its rescuer mama everywhere she goes and will perch on her shoulder or head whenever it gets a chance to do so.
Early morning sky on my way to the hospital for 3rd chemo treatment - 6:40am.
Sunrise from my hospital room.
For the 1st night stay, I had a roommate who later went for her operation. I slept alone for the 2nd and 3rd night before I was discharged from hospital.

If you want favor with both God and man,
and a reputation for good judgment and common sense,
then trust the Lord completely; don't ever trust yourself.
In everything you do, put God first,
and he will direct you and crown your efforts with success.
(Proverbs 3:5-6)
Your room in the hospital looks cosy Nancy.
ReplyDeleteThe sunrise from the window is beautiful, would love to have seen that one in person.
Your friend's sunrise is beautiful, so brilliant in colour.
The bird, well that is so good of your friend to do that for the bird - it must love her to want to stay.
The fish looks nice with the head off for me :)
Take care and thanks for keeping us updated.

ReplyDeleteGood to know that you are back at home after the chemo.
Thank you, Rose.
DeleteI hate being in hospital (broke my arm, got infected, blablabla, I know how it is), glad you managed well.
ReplyDeleteAnd what a wonderful pic of the sky!
The fish still has it all?!!! I think I would run away ;-) Ingo bought fish yesterday and froze it. Not a fish-fan but one day soon... fish it will be. Just the filets, though!
Eww to the moth! LOL.
Cute bird and thanks for caring people! The bird sure thinks the same. Ingo´s Dad once rescued one, too - it copied him even. Birds are clever.
Nice you had the room to yourself. And there are curtains for privacy! We don´t have that here...
Hope all went well and you are back to your happy self soon! Hugs
Thank you, Iris.
