Beautiful Peacock In Damai Laut.

As we were coming back from the beach (Swiss Garden Beach Resort) on the 1st evening, we have to walk quite a distance to the swimming pool area. Hubby and the rest of the group had gone on ahead of me. I was taking snapshots here and there, and I was far behind them.

I was following behind and going up the path to the swimming pool when I saw hubby crouching on the pathway. I walked nearer and took a look and saw this pretty peacock under a big bush. I have added a picture of this peacock in my earlier post but I have kept the rest for sharing with the Saturday's Critters meme. There is also a short video shot by hubby on the peacock at the end of this post.

One thing I ask from the LORD, this only do I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the LORD
all the days of my life,
to gaze on the beauty of the LORD
and to seek him in his temple.

Sunset At Swiss Garden Beach Resort, Damai Laut.

On the first evening at Swiss Garden Beach Resort, I explored the beach and the ground of the resort and came away with many snapshots and some nice sunset shots too. The sunset shots were taken between 5.15 pm to about 6.00 pm. I hope you won't be bored with so many photos because I like to keep everyone of them. Lol!

2nd Day At Swiss Garden Beach Resort, Damai Laut.

2nd day at Swiss Garden Beach Resort. We woke up early and our bags were all packed and ready to go anytime. We still have plenty of time and we were not in a hurry to check out yet.
Those who wished to sleep late can do so and for us early risers, we went down to the beach for a walk. And found this short fence.
If I am not mistaken, we were facing west and our backs toward east. This was a reflection of the sunrise behind us.
I am missing the sound of waves lapping on the beach.
A lone figure on the wooden platform surrounded by a wooden fence.
Platform with wooden fence on stilts.
Another snapshot before leaving the beach.
 Okay! One last one....
Hubby found this beautiful peacock the previous evening.
Time was about 10.15 am - checked out.
Ready to fly - we are going for our brunch.
Group photos for the album. Appreciating and thankful for the time we have together.
Thankful for great company!

Don't be weary in prayer; keep at it; watch for God's answers,
and remember to be thankful when they come.

Arrival & First Day At Swiss Garden Beach Resort, Damai Laut.

Checking into Swiss Garden Beach Resort took quite a while because there were others before us. We were taking this as an opportunity to visit and get to know some of the places in our own state i.e Perak.
A great place for a getaway from the busyness of the towns and cities and a paradise for golfers.
Reception.
After we have rested, it was time for us to explore the place.
These are some of the rooms.
Playground for the young.
Surrounded by greens.
Tall pine trees before reaching the beach.
Time was about 5.15 pm - waiting for the setting sun.
Will be sharing more of the setting sun photos in another post.
As you can see from the photos, it was a hazy day.
From the beach to the swimming pool.
Families and children prefer the swimming pool.
No swimming for us except for our young lady.
None of us brought our swimming wear.
While my friends sat on the deck chairs and chat, I went about exploring.
This dried palm leaves reminded me of the ones we used for the roof of houses in the old times. Then it was upgraded to zinc roof and now we have the tiles or concrete roofs.
I like this - great way to grow orchids and plants.
I like the sound of water.
Quiet water.
Trees with yellow flowers.
Pretty yellow flowers. From afar, I thought the trees were full of yellow rambutan or hairy fruits.

Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and
understand what he is saying to the churches.
To everyone who is victorious I will give fruit
from the tree of life in the paradise of God.
(Revelation 2:7, New Living Translation-NLT)
