Lunch & Edible Garden At Arundel Bungalow, Fraser's Hill.

After the morning's outing at the Flora Garden, Allan's Water and town centre, we arrived back at the bungalow in time for our lunch. We did a quick wash up and we were told that lunch was ready. We requested for Hainanese Chicken Rice.
Deep Fried Tilapia fish topped with sweet sour sauce.
Stir fried Green Peas, Cucumber slices, Fresh Mushrooms, etc.
Poached Chicken
Dehydrated Veggie Soup (choy kon tong).
Special cooked rice with chicken broth.
Ginger paste & chili sauce.
Besides the watermelon slices served by the operator, we also had these strawberries freshly plucked from the Flora Garden.

After lunch, we went to explore the edible garden behind the bungalows.
Many varieties of edible plants in the garden.
There were different types of yam/taro plants. Some with green stems, some with purplish stems. There were also chili and pumpkin plants.
Mint leaves.
Looks like some kind of herbs with tiny white flowers.
Fruiting banana plant and a coconut seedling in a pot.
We don't know whether this is another specie of the edible yam or taro plant but the purple leaves look like yam leaves.

What was so interesting?
We were so fascinated by these big green oranges!
We found 4 big green oranges about the size of an adult hand. And a small lemon growing from a small lemon plant grown in a pot.
We found this very old cactus plant growing next to the fence,
I am sharing this old cactus plant with Tuesday's Treasure.
Took this last shot before we went in for our afternoon tea.
Teatime was at 4 pm. We were served doughnuts with coffee.
Took this shot halfway through our meal.

Linking to Tuesday's Treasure.

He also used this example: "The kingdom of Heaven
can be compared to a woman making bread.
She takes a measure of flour and mixes in the yeast
until it permeates every part of the dough."
(Matthew 13:33, The Living Bible-TLB)
