More Sunrise Photos From Fraser's Hill.

It is coming to about 2 months since our last Fraser's Hill holiday. It was only last night that our friend asked us when will we be making another trip up to the highland. "At least wait till after the Chinese New Year." That was my hubby's reply! Here are a few more sunrise photos to share today.
The morning sun slowing coming up from the horizon.

I wondered what surprises will await us the next trip to Fraser's Hill.
I am hoping to see more beautiful flowers and breathtaking sights.

Stopping For Lunch At Restoran Fook Seng, Slim River.

We timed our journey from Fraser's Hill to Slim River to have our lunch at Restoran Fook Seng. Again? We like the food here. We had lunch at the same restaurant on our way up to Fraser's Hill and now we were here again on our way back from Fraser's Hill to Ipoh.
The lady boss of the restaurant highly recommended this fish head cooked in a clay pot dish. I can't remember the name of the fish. The reasons she gave were the fish head was very meaty and the meat texture very smooth!
Thin slices of bitter gourd and egg omelette.
Stir fry water convolvulus with prawn paste.
Vegetable spikes (sayur paku or paku choy) with prawn paste.
 Stir fried roasted pork.
Total cost of lunch for 7 people incl. white rice & Chinese tea

The following photos are for joining Saturday's Critters.
While we were seated and eating chicken satay (bbq chicken meat on skewers) under the open sky one night, this cat was near our table. I made some "meow, meow" sound and it turned to look at me!
Then it did a good stretching and was minding its own business.
Again I made some "meow, meow" sound and got back it's attention!

So we have seen and proved that what the prophets said came true.
You will do well to pay close attention to everything they have written,
for, like lights shining into dark corners, their words help us
to understand many things that otherwise would be dark and difficult.
But when you consider the wonderful truth of the prophets' words,
then the light will dawn in your souls and
Christ the Morning Star will shine in your hearts.

Woke Up To A Stunning Sunrise At Fraser's Hill.

On the second morning and the last morning of our stay in Fraser's Hill, I got out of bed a bit reluctantly because I was feeling so cozy in bed. After I have gone through my normal morning routine, we were out of the door of the bungalow into the open sky. We took in deep breath of cool, fresh air. It was about 6.40 am and the mist has cleared.
Time was 6.40 am.
Through the trees, we caught sight of the glow of sunrise.
Only 4 of us were up looking out for the sunrise.
We gave a morning call through our smart phone to our youngest member of the group as requested by him. He wanted to join us on our early morning walking exercise, which was posted yesterday. You can click here to read and enjoy the pictures.
Meanwhile our eyes and cameras were focus on the rising sun.
All these sunrise shots were taken from in front of the bungalow.
Watching the changing patterns and clouds formation.
In between sunrise shots, I did some stretching exercises.
And some deep breathing of cool, fresh air!
Here rises the sun! Time was about 6.58 am.
What a beautiful sunrise. Awesome creation of our Creator God!
One last shot before we start our walk downhill.
Time was 11.20 am. Caught this view from the front passenger seat while we were making our way down to the lowland.
Time was 12.25 pm. The sky filled with fluffy cottony clouds.
Looking forward to our lunch at Restoran Fook Seng, Slim River, again!

But we are looking forward to God's promise of new heavens
and a new earth afterwards, where there will be only goodness.
Dear friends, while you are waiting for these things to happen
and for him to come, try hard to live without sinning;
and be at peace with everyone so that
he will be pleased with you when he returns.

One More Round of Morning Walk Before Breakfast.

On the last morning of our 3 days, 2 nights stay in Fraser's Hill, we did one more round of morning walk downhill and back again to the bungalow before breakfast. The downhill and uphill exercise was straining and good for our leg muscles and for the next 2 days we had aching leg muscles.

The youngest member of our group expressed interest in joining our early morning walk and we were waiting for him to get ready before we start.
Time was 6.40 am when we started our walk. We had the moonlight and the rising sun to light the way.
We had a clear view of Genting Highlands from where we were standing. We can see the lights on top of the mountains where Genting Highland is.
A few more clicks while waiting for the others to get ready. Hedges as fences.
We can hear birds chirping and singing and some were searching for food among the trees. We also sighted some squirrels moving from branches to branches. Besides these, there were also all kinds of insects sound.
Our walk took us downhill to this welcome sign.
We found these beautiful white lilies growing near the welcome sign.
We didn't go any further from here and we made a U-turn uphill back to the bungalow.
Taking about Genting Highlands, we saw this road sign "Genting Road" here in Fraser's Hill! Some time ago, there was talk about linking up the three popular highlands (Genting Highlands, Cameron Highlands & Fraser's Hill) but until now it remained just a suggestion.
I love this twin tree ferns and took a snapshot on our returning uphill walk.
Something interesting stopped us to take a look.
Hibiscus hedges as fence.

And here is what we had for breakfast on our last morning: a piece of bacon, 1 sausage and 2 fried eggs on a plate. Not shown in the photo were toasted bread with butter and jam, coffee and tea.

Jesus said, "Are you being willfully stupid?
Don't you see that what you swallow can't contaminate you?
It doesn't enter your heart but your stomach,
works its way through the intestines, and is finally flushed."
(That took care of dietary quibbling:
Jesus was saying that all foods are fit to eat.)

Western Style Dinner At Bunge Bungalow.

We had Western style dinner for the 2nd night's dinner. We made a special request for 4 lamb chops and 3 chicken chops.
Our dinner started with mushroom soup.
And some toasted bread with butter to go with the soup.
Chicken chop with a sausage, blanched cabbage and half a tomato. I interrupted my neighbour's dinner for this picture.
Mustard paste and mint sauce (no pic. of mint sauce to show).
Hey! Now where is my lamb chop picture? Did I forget or did it went missing? We were served a generous portion of lamp chop. I like my lamp chop with the mint sauce plus a little bit of mustard paste.
For dessert, we were served banana pudding cake. We have tasted this on our previous trip.
We are suppose to eat the banana pudding with this sauce.
Since there is no lamb chop picture to show, I will show you our young man enjoying his lamb chop.
Hmmm....so delicious!

This photo came in late. It was taken on the 1st night dinner but I will post it here. Thank God for the food and happy fellowship.
There was no mist that night and the sky was very clear. From the bungalow's sitting room, we can see the lights from Genting Highland quite clearly. On a clear day, we can also see the high rise buildings very clearly. This is the best I can get with my smart phone camera.
