Visit Expo At Stadium Indera Mulia On A Sunday

It was Sunday morning. Even though we like the shredded chicken noodle in our area, hubby wanted to go to Kafe Little Nam Yeong in town. What attracts him there is their blanched jelly fish and beansprout dish.

2 bowls of shredded chicken noodle (koay teow) or kai si hor fun.
Side order: blanched beansprouts and jelly fish with Thai sauce.
After breakfast, we went to church and after church, we went to the indoor stadium.
ifood Expo at indoor Stadium Indera Mulia. It was the last day of the expo.
Food machinery.
This machine can make "cendol", green flour used for making dessert.
Saw this bunch of oil palm fruits at one of the stalls.
Saw this cute thing at another stall.
We came away from the expo with 2 pairs of walking shoes. One for hubby and one for me.
~~~~~
That evening's dine-out dinner with friends.
I think this is Marmite chicken.
Brinjals or eggplants with minced pork.
Steamed Tilapia with Nyonya sauce.
From this side, the fish with wide open mouth can be seen.
This is the best and most tasty dish of the evening.
Total cost of dinner = RM93.80 for 4 people.
For salvation that comes from trusting Christ -
which is what we preach - is already within easy reach of each of us;
in fact, it is as near as our own hearts and mouths.
Shredded Chicken Meat Noodles & Jelly Fish For Breakfast.
Ipoh's shredded chicken meat noodles or "kai si hor fun" in Cantonese is very popular with tourists from far and near. There are a few well known places serving good shredded chicken meat noodles and one of them is Kafe Little Nam Yeong. This stall was formerly located at Restoran Jen Jen but has since shifted to Kafe Little Nam Yeong. This is one of hubby's favourite noodles.
We ordered a plate of blanched jelly fish, bean sprouts & cuttlefish or squid. You will need to pour the Thai chili sauce and squeeze the lime juice over it before you start to enjoy it.
Sometimes, we request for bird's eye chili in soy sauce to add oomph to the taste!
Sometimes, we only ordered the jelly fish and the bean sprouts without the cuttlefish or squid.
My bowl of shredded chicken  and flat rice noodle.
Sometimes, we will add some fish balls too.
From these empty bowl and plate, you will know that we enjoyed every mouthful.
The following photos are for joining Skywatch Friday.
This photo was taken at 5.35 pm.
This is the newly built building at the Ipoh Permaisuri Bainun general hospital.
We were on our way to pick up our friends for dinner.
Taken at 7.20 pm - the sky was still bright.
Linking to Skywatch Friday.
He replied, "You are good at reading the weather signs of the skies
- red sky tonight means fair weather tomorror;
red sky in the morning means foul weather all day
- but you can't read the obvious signs of the times!
