Visited Platform 9 1/2 Cafe, Concubine Lane, Ipoh

After our dim sum breakfast, our friend wanted to visit Concubine Lane in Ipoh old town. The weekend crowd was already there and we too joined in as one of the visiting tourists. One of the latest addition and attraction is a Harry Potter inspired cafe. We went in not to sample the food but more of curiosity and also for taking photos. There were many like us just taking snapshots here and there.

 Next, we moved over to the other side of Concubine Lane.

Those who use the things of the world

Dim Sum Breakfast At Restoran You Qian Zhan, Bercham

I like to eat dim sum once in a while but we have friends who can eat dim sum almost everyday. I can't imagine myself eating dim sum that often. One morning our friend suggested that we try the dim sum at this new dim sum restaurant. This new place is Restoran You Qian Zhan in Bercham.

 2 fish balls cut into halves.

 Crispy prawn in bean curd rolls.

 Taro or yam puffs with filling.

 Deep fried prawn dumplings.

 Steamed fish paste

 Breakfast for 4 people.

We shared the food and we shared the bill too.

After breakfast, we visited Concubine Lane.

 We passed by this place where the puppies are offered for adoption.

This is a cute puppy. "Please take me home with you"

 One can't help but love these puppies.

 I hope these puppies will be adopted by people who will love and take good care of them.

These 2 must be very tired of waiting.

We are brothers, we keep each other warm.

Dinner At Restoran Eipoh, Taman Hoover, Ipoh

Every few months, the prayer team that hubby is part of will get together for a meal. Usually it is a dinner gathering and all the spouses are invited to join in. That particular day started with a lovely morning.

Enjoying the sunrise at the park where we go for our early morning walk.

 As I walked, I stopped every on and then to snap these photos.

Many of us just can't take our eyes off this sunrise. 

 A few including me stopped to snap photos.

 I don't mind getting up extra early just to enjoy the beauty of sunrises.

The chosen venue for the dinner gathering was Restoran Eipoh.

I will only briefing describe the dishes.

 Braised Sea Cucumber, garnished with blanched broccoli & etc.

 Chicken with flavourful sticky sauce.

 Blanched green vegetable with whole garlic, onion crisps & sauce.

Steamed pork Belly and Taro dish.

 Steamed Grouper Fish

 Stinky beans and minced meat with spicy prawn paste.

Total cost of dinner for 9 people - RM 312.00 

 Cockscomb flower - a very long lasting flower.
