Today is Sunday and tomorrow I will be admitted once again into the hospital for the 8th chemo treatment. I pray and hope that God will give me the strength to manage on my own when in the hospital. Lately, I have grown weaker and getting out of bed is a struggle on my own. most of the time, i have to grit my teeth to endure the pain.

Anxiously Waiting For CT Scan Result.
Sunrise at 6:40am.
On the way for admission.
Same as above.
This is a precious plant given by a dear friend.
Told hubby to shift it to a shady place so it will not dry up when hubby forgets to water the plants.
This was only part of crowd waiting for their turn to do the CT Scan test,
Finally it was my turn to be wheeled down and wait for my turn.

7th Chemo Treatment At The Hospital
I had the pre-chemo blood test done on Friday, 21st July and will be admitted to hospital for chemo treatment this morning (Monday, 24th July).
A friend took this shot with the rainbow on the way to Bercham, Ipoh.
Hubby went to join them for dinner while I was in hospital.
A version of Crown of Thorns without the thorns from my front garden.
This is how we queue up for the blood test using our belonging while waiting for the counter to open at 7am. The gold bag is mine. After placing my bag, I went to get a seat. I got #10.
We reached just before 6am and we managed to get a parking space just next to the blood lab which allows hubby to support me while I walked. Praise the Lord, my back pain is much lessen and more tolerable.
These are all waiting for the counter to open at 7am. They will only start to take the blood about 8am. So there is long wait of about 2 hours plus before we could go home.

The photos of the dog on the car are old photos taken in 2021 while I was still healthy and active with our morning walk.
Doggie on his owner's car keeping watch.
When he heard us passing by, he sat up on the car.
And watched us passed by, sometimes barking, sometimes he just keep quiet.

Psalm 23, The Lord's my shepherd.
The Lord is my shepherd, I'll not want
He makes me lie in pastures green
He leads me by the still, still waters
His goodness restores my soul
Chorus:
And I will trust in You alone
And I will trust in You alone
For Your endless mercy follows me
Your goodness will lead me home
He guides my way in righteousness
And He anoints my head with oil
And my cup, it overflows with joy
I feast on His pure delight
(Chorus)
And though I walk the darkest path
I will fear the evil one
For You are with me, Your rod and staff
Are the comfort I need to know
(Chorus)

Exhibits At Aeon Falim & Saturday's Critters
Instead of sunrise, we had a mist covered Kledang Hill view on this particular morning.
Cool morning with mist covered hill at 7:15am.
That afternoon we went to Aeon Falim Shopping Mall and saw there was something on. I went to take a closer look.
Galeri Uniti Keluarga Malaysia from 3rd - 8th Oct, 2022.
A program to foster the spirit of unity among Malaysians.
The time was about 2:30pm. Only a handful of people there, so easy for me to snap some photos.
The stage.

Circular design on the ceiling above the escalator.
Time to go home. It looked like it might rain soon.
A friend came to visit and gave me the above biscuits. The filling has coffee flavouring.
That evening we had small group meeting. Since the pandemic, we have been meeting online using the Whatsapp group video call feature. It only allows 8 contact numbers at a time. Meeting this way is convenient and works well for us because most of the elderlies no longer drive at night.
I stopped to snap photo of the cat on the roof of the car.
This dog came into the picture.
The dog was not happy and started barking at me.
The cat doesn't look happy either with me taking its photo.
On the walk home, I saw this big cat cleaning itself on the roof of a car. It doesn't look happy either! It seems to say, "Hey, why are you taking my photo without my permission!"

Who can command things to happen without the Lord's permission?
Does not the Most High send both calamity and good?
Then why should we, mere humans,
complain when we are punished for our sins?

Birthday Lunch At August Healing, Ipoh
We woke up to a cloudy morning.
Sunrise at 7:05am.
This was a Monday and most eateries are closed on Mondays. Our friend finally found one that was open and we made our way to August Healing at No. 18A, Jalan Theatre, Ipoh.
We need to go up these steps.
Our friend ordered the above quiche and
something that looks like a scone with dried herbs and served with cream.
Someone ordered latte.
I ordered Earl Grey tea (refillable) and
this tiramisu cake.
The birthday boy ordered the above with chocolate topping and
the house's special bagel with filling.
It was a treat by his aunt for the young man's belated birthday celebration.

Our one dish home cookd dinner.
I used the whole bearded chicken and a bottle of raisin wine to cook this "Drunken Chicken Soup". Other ingredients used: wood fungus, red dates, goji berries, and ginger. With this soup, we had mee sua chicken wine soup. This portion was enough for 2 dinners.
One of our morning walk, we came across this dog sitting by the roadside.
He was sitting so upright and all the focus on what was ahead of him. I guess it might be waiting for its owner who had gone across the road to the recreational park.
Such a smart looking dog on guard, staying so focus.

For the Lord grants wisdom!
His every word is a treasure of knowledge and understanding.
He grants good sense to the godly - his saints.
He is their shield, protecting them and guarding their pathway.
He shows how to distinguish right from wrong,
how to find the right decision every time.

Prawn Noodle & Curry Noodle At #884, Jalan Queen, Pasir Pinji, Ipoh
After having tasted the food at this riverside village eatery at the end of Jalan Queen with our friend (you can click here for the post), we wanted to go back to try other varieties. Our friends couldn't make it so it was just only hubby and I.
We ordered a glass of herbal tea and a cup of unsweetened black coffee.
Prawn noodle for me.
Curry noodle for hubby.
It was a satisfying breakfast for both of us.
We will be returning again to try other varieties.

While waiting for our breakfast to be served, I was busy take photos of the playful dogs.

Let your roots grow down into hi
and draw up nourishment from him.
See that you go on growing in the Lord, and become
strong and vigorous in the truth you were taught.
Let your lives overflow with joy
and thanksgiving for all he has done.
