Red Yeast Rice Chee Cheong Fun & Fish Noodle For Breakfast

This was a Tuesday morning. We are still in the rainy season but that morning we were happy to see the sunrise, though only for a short while.

Sunrise at 7am.
Dark cloud blocking the sunrise at 7:40am
After morning walk, we drove to Menglembu Industrian area for breakfast. I forgot the new name of the restaurant. A friend informed hubby of this new place.
We ordered fish head noodle in white broth. Tastes good but I would prefer the broth to be a bit more sourish.
While waiting for the chee cheong fun to be served, I ordered the above siew bao with bbq pork to try.
Steamed red yeast rice flour roll or chee cheong fun with filling. The filling is actually crispy fried prawn roll. Together with the sambal and soy sauce, it tastes very different from the usual steamed chee cheong fun. This is my first time eating this type of chee cheong fun.
After we have finished breakfast, I bought the above bun that looks like Polo Bun with bbq pork filling for my lunch.
Reached home at about 9:05am, there was no sign of the sun.
On the reverse side at 9:05am. Expecting rain soon.
For lunch, I had the polo bun with bbq pork filling.
~~~~~
We had leftover food for dinner.
Leftover stewed pork rib with home grown daikon.
The above spicy chicken or ayam masak merah was from our neighbour.
Dinner with steamed brown rice.
Simple dinner turned out to be not so simple with the addition of the masak merah ayam from our neighbour.
Just as water is turned into irrigation ditches,
so the Lord directs the king's thoughts.
He turns them wherever he wants to.
Update On My Air Plant (Tillandsia)
My first exposure to air plant was at a Pet Fiesta in 2016.
Two years later (2018), I bought my first and only air plant from a nearby plant nursery.
Another two years later (2020) - the single air plant produced 2 offshoots or "pups".
became 3 air plants. I didn't separate the offshoots from the parent plant.
This was taken in 2021. More offshoots or "pups" appeared.
~~~~~
New updates
July 2022
My air plant has grown into a clump because I didn't separate the offshoots.
September 2022 - Water droplets from the rain.
October, 2022
I am thinking about separating some of the offshoots or "pups" from the clump.
I hope I can successfully separate some of the offshoots or "pups" to avoid over crowding. Instead of 1 clump of air plants, I will have more.

God's laws are perfect.
They protect us, make us wise, and give us joy and light.
God's laws are pure, eternal, just. they are more desirable than gold.
They are sweeter than honey dripping from a honeycomb.
For they warn us away from harm and
give success to those who obey them.

Stewed Pork Rib With Home Grown Daikon

Actually my home grown daikon or white radish were not due for harvest yet. Due to the rainy season with excess water, I need to harvest all of them because some had started to rot.

Big and small, all were harvest to save them from rotting. These were kept in the fridge until I have decided on what to do with them.
The day started with morning walk. I got bored with noodles so I bought a steamed bun with bbq pork filling and a big fish ball for myself. Hubby took noodle.
My neighbour bought some pork rib for me and I have decided to cook stewed pork rib with the daikon I have harvested.
Ingredients used: Pork rib, daikon, carrot, ginger, garlic, chilies, sour plum sauce, dark sauce, oyster sauce, salt and sugar to taste.
Appetizing dinner for 2 people.
Just 1 dish with steamed brown rice.
When the dish was cooked, I hand over one portion to my neighbour.
I took the above photo in Gopeng town. We have yet to visit this place named "High Street Kopitiam".
I saw the above tricycle in Ipoh old town. It is displayed in a new hotel.

O Lord our God, you brought lasting honor to your name
by removing your people from Egypt in a great display of power.
Lord, do it again!
Though we have sinned so much and are full of wickedness.
