Our Simple Lunch At Restoran Ai Pang Leng, Menglembu.

Two weeks before the Chinese New Year, we had this simple lunch consisting of a little of this and that.
Hubby and I shared the above food.
 3 pieces of crunchy fritters.
Starting from top left: 1 small sweet glutinous ball, 1 piece stuffed tofu and 1 yam puff.
 The above are my favourites.
 A bowl of rice porridge.
A bowl of red beans sweet porridge.
The restaurant was selling these sweet nian gao (made from glutinous rice). I didn't buy any though was very much tempted.

Today is 4th day of the Chinese New Year.
Warm greetings from my garden.
Bauhinia Kockiana - the new flowers started as yellow.
Then they slowly changed to orangey red.
Then it finally changed to deep orangey red.
Bauhinia Kockiana blooms in front of my house.

If you stay away from sin you will be like one of these dishes made of purest gold

- the very best in the house - so that Christ himself can use you for his highest purposes.

  9. I like to eat meals like this - a little of this and that especially the red bean tong sui and fritters. One of the fritters is a cucur udang, isn't it?
