How I Cooked My Home Grown Vegetables

When my fridge is filled with vegetables from my garden, I have to think of ways to use them in my cooking. Most of the days when I cook, I only cook one meal per day and that is dinner. In this post, I shared some examples of my simple home cooked dishes.
Breaking of dawn at the recreational park.
Prawns and home grown vegetables curry.
I can lots of vegetables cooked in this curry dish.
Home grown old cucumbers and pork rib soup.
For better flavour and taste, I added dried cuttlefish, red dates & goji berries.
Steamed home grown vegetables with soy sauce & garlic, onion oil.
Conveniently used up at little of what has been harvested from the garden.
Steamed snake beans and stubby okra sprinkled with soy sauce, scallop sauce, garlic and onion crips and oil. I love beans and I enjoy eating this without any rice.
A small taro or yam cooked with dried prawns and spring onions from my garden.

The advice of a wise man refreshes like water
from a mountain spring.
Those accepting it become aware of the pitfalls on ahead.
(Proverbs 13:14, The Living Bible-TLB)

  2. I love vegetabel's meal... Especially natural ones ... it is impossible to find pure food lately, but my mother makes great meals with olive oil made from olives in our garden. Thanks for your sharing Nancy 😊
