One warm afternoon, after going around town with our friends, we went to Laksa Leaf Cafe in Canning Garden. This is a nice and quiet place to hang out with friends. This place serves delicious laksa noodle and desserts. We were not hungry so we didn't order any noodle, we just order something light.
Ice Kacang (assorted treasures with ice shaving)
Bubur cha cha
(coconut milk dessert with yam, sweet potato cubes, sago, and etc.)
From where I was seated, I saw these critter toys.

The man who knows right from wrong
and has good judgment and common sense
is happier than the man who is immensely rich!
For such wisdom is far more valuable than precious jewels.
Nothing else compares with it.

ReplyDeleteI love ais kacang and bu bur cha cha but I seldom take them. Not the cold ais kacang as I seldom take cold stuff.
Thank you, Rose. We don't take often because need to watch the sugar intake.
DeleteI love to eat these two desserts. The abc looks so tasty and the bubur cha cha have a lot of ubi in it, so generous!
ReplyDeleteThis is one of the few places that serve nice desserts.
DeleteInteresting sweets Nancy. See ya.

DeleteWhile i have seen a small bell to call for service, i've never seen anyone use a squeeky toy for that purpose, that is unique!
ReplyDeleteThe squeeky toy to call for service is really unique.
DeleteThe rubber chicken looks like it was caught by surprise. I have never seen one used to get service, either.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea to get service. Just hope the sound from the squeeze is loud enough to get attention needed.
DeleteNice
ReplyDeleteThank you, Jo-Anne.
DeleteYour deserts are very different from the ones served here, dear Nancy. They look delicious.

ReplyDeleteWow seems like a very... interesting type of museum! Haha
Thank you, Sharon. I think so too, I have yet to visit this museum.
DeleteThose "coffee alarms" are so unique, and the hanging chairs may be for sale but they look like an art form to me. Engaging street scenes too!
ReplyDeleteYou are right, the chairs are not for sale, just an art.
DeleteThe desserts are so odd for me but interesting description darling
ReplyDeleteHappy Holidays
xx

ReplyDeleteThat screaming chicken can be real loud!
ReplyDeleteDon't know whether its a screaming chicken loud enough or not because I didn't try giving it a squeeze. Lol!
