Fried Rice And Rojak

It rains almost every day and this is one of those rainy days. When it rains, I needn't have to water my plants except those under shade.

 My Gardenia plant has started to bloom.

 Hubby and I shared this big plate of fried rice for lunch.

 After lunch, we went with friend to Pasir Pinji for Chinese rojak (fruit salad). First, take a number and wait for the number to be called.

Dim Sum Breakfast For 4 At Dim Sum Yuen, Ipoh

Our friends want dim sum for breakfast so we went to pick them up and off we went to Dim Sum Yuen. Here we have to look through the menu and tick on the order chit whatever items we want. At this place we can eat at ease without having other customers standing behind us waiting for us to finish and vacate the table for them.

 Yam or Taro puffs that come in a pair of white swans.

 So creative, the batter even looks like feathers after being fried.

 Our visitor wants to try their milk tea.

After he finished the first cup, he ordered a second cup.

 Steamed glutinous rice and chicken.

 Chee cheong fun or steamed flat rice noodle served with sambal.

One plate with prawn filling and another bbq meat filling.

 Steamed fish paste.

 Siew Mai or dumplings.

 Let the hot yummy soup cool down a bit.

A heavy breakfast that will last till late afternoon.

Which Colour Prom Dresses Would You Choose?

Shopping malls and stores are stocking up for the festive seasons. Christmas is fast approaching round the corner. After Christmas will be the New Year celebration to welcome in the year 2020 and 25 days later, we will be celebrating the Chinese New Year.

Just thinking of the preparation alone overwhelms me and I dread the thought of tidying and cleaning up the house. Well, whether we like it or not, sooner or later it has to be done. Sigh! Okay, let us leave this boring topic aside and look on the bright side which is shopping for new clothes for the festivals!

For most people, we like bright colours when it comes to celebration of festivals or happy occasions. During these happy occasions, we usually wear bright colours such as red, yellow, pink, and etc. This is especially a must for Chinese families with old folks, those who still hold on to the traditional culture and teaching. Of course, this may not be the case for the current young generation who loves to wear dark colours like black.
