Home Cooked Noodle, Prawns & Egg Omelette For Dinner

I have one last item to clear from my freezer and that is a packet of prawns. I left the frozen prawns at the lower shelf of the fridge the night before to thaw the prawns.
7:13 am - Just a plain sky.
This dog took up half the walking path and walkers had to walk over to the other side of the path.
This is a regular. Not sure if it is a stray dog because it is not wearing a collar.

I marinated the prawns with a little bit of sugar and salt and kept it in the fridge until it was time to pan fried it.
Pan fried prawns with soy sauce and onions.
Egg omelette with onions, especially requested by hubby.
Our simple home cooked dinner for 2. I cooked 2 plates of dried noodles, tossed with garlic oil and soy sauce. Some chili sambal belacan sauce as condiment.

Linking to Saturday's Critters.

If you want to know what God wants you to do, ask him,
and he will gladly tell you, for he is always ready
to give a bountiful supply of wisdom to all
who ask him; he will not resent it. But when you ask him,
be sure that you really expect him to tell you,
for a doubtful mind will be as unsettled as a wave of the sea
that is driven and tossed by the wind;

The Beginning Of A New Day

It is nice to walk in the park when the morning air is cool and with less people around. When we are early, we get to watch the dark sky slowly being lit up by the rising sun. The following snapshots is one of "The beginning of a new day" series in my photo gallery.

After this, we left for breakfast and then back to my garden to water my plants.
Sea Hibiscus (Talipariti tiliaceum)
This hibiscus plant has started to flower again after I moved it to a place where it gets plenty of sunlight.
It is yellow in the morning.
Then it changes to this pink colour around mid day.
Finally, it changes to deep pink before it drops off.
The flowers only last a day.

Home cooking again for dinner because I have harvested some home grown snake long beans and red ladies fingers from my garden. From the fridge, I found a packet of minced meat and some remaining sour pineapple to cook 2 dishes for dinner.
Spicy sambal long beans, ladies fingers, pineapple, and minced meat.
Spicy sambal stinky beans with minced meat.
These are 2 appetizing dishes and it is not complete without some steamed multi grains rice. No leftover after dinner because I cleared everything off the plates.

If you want favor with both God and man,
and a reputation for good judgment and common sense,
then trust the Lord completely; don't ever trust yourself.
In everything you do, put God first,
and he will direct you and crown your efforts with success.

Fried Noodle For Breakfast, Home Cooked Lunch And Dinner.

The first meal of the day is breakfast. After our morning walk, we went to our regular fried noodle stall. We were asked if we want to try sambal fried short noodle (loh shu fun in Cantonese). This noodle is not always available and happened to be available that particular day.
So for a change, we ordered the fried sambal "loh shu fun".
Hubby and I shared this plate of noodle.

I bought a pineapple but it turned out to be sour.
I used the pineapple for cooking my lunch and dinner.
I cooked minced meat balls with pineapple and sour plum sauce.
Hubby ate this with plain noodle.
Instead of rice, I want to eat ice vegetable with Kewpie roasted sesame dressing.

I took out the last 2 Horse Mackerel (ikan cencaru) to thaw in the lower shelf of the fridge the night before. They will be properly thaw in time for the next day dinner.
Instead of stuffing the fishes, I pan fried them over low fire. I wanted to eat the fishes with sambal belacan paste.
I used another portion of pineapple to cook my home grown bitter gourd and some long beans with chopped garlic, dried prawns and salted black beans. We ate the above 2 dishes with some steamed rice for dinner.

Work hard and cheerfully at all you do,
just as though you were working for the Lord
and not merely for your masters,
remembering that it is the Lord Christ who is going to pay you,
giving you your full portion of all he owns.
He is the one you are working for.
And if you don't do your best for him,
he will pay you in a way that you won't like -
for he has no special favourites who can get away with shirking.
