A few days before the Chinese New Year 2016, hubby and I accompanied a couple to a friend's house to collect some new year cookies which they have ordered. We, the ladies are ex-colleagues and while we were at our friend's house, we sat and chat awhile.
Then the hostess suggested we go out for "yum cha" (have a drink). We don't mind going out for a drink as the weather was very hot that night. So 7 of us went out in 2 cars as all agree to "yum cha".
This "yum cha" place is quite near to the hostess house.
There is also a "dim sum" stall and our hostess insisted on ordering a few items for us to try since we were there.
We were here at Kafe Pasir Puteh, along Jalan Pasir Puteh, Ipoh. This was my first time here.
This is the name of the "dim sum" stall.
Below were the items our hostess ordered for us to try.
Steamed dumplings wrapped with deep fried bean curd.
Steamed dumplings.
5 fish balls.
4 char siew (bbq pork) steamed buns. We all quite like these char siew pau.
How could you even think I was talking about food?
But again I say, 'Beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.'"
Then at last they understood that by yeast he meant
the wrong teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.
(Matthew 16:11-12, TLB)
What a nice and hot Char Sau Pau you have.
