New Year Eve Dinner With Friends At Wan Li Xiang Roasters

After having taken lunch here with a long time friend at Wan Li Xiang Roasters few days ago, we found that the food was very tasty. We decided to order the promotional dinner set which will be on until mid January. My friend organized and got together all 10 of us and we were back here again for the New Year Eve dinner.

My friends were at the restaurant before us. Traffic was heavy on the road and we reached in time just when the first dish was brought to the table. The moment we sat down, we gave thanks to God for the meal and our dinner began. Timing was just perfect!
First dish - Poached free range chicken served with blended ginger.
Sorry about the chicken head. When eating in Chinese restaurants, it is auspicious to serve the dish together with the head and tail. It symbolizes a good start and finish.
 Roasted Piglet.
The same applies to the head and legs.
 Plain Steamed Grouper
Fish means prosperity and the same applies for the head and tail.
 Fried Prawns
Mixed dish of green, mushroom & deep fried rolled cuttlefish.
Fragrant Fried Rice.
For cold sweet dessert - Canned longan with kwai ling ko jelly.
We polished off every dish and it was a very scrumptious dinner
Dinner set of 7 dishes for 10 people costs MYR 368.

Today is the beginning of a brand new year!
Have A Blessed New Year!

Lord, through all the generations you have been our home!
Before the mountains were created, before the earth was formed,
you are God without beginning or end.
