Boarding The SuperStar Libra Cruise Ship At Swettenham Pier, Penang.

When we crossed over the bridge to Penang, we went straight to Penang Road looking for the Teochew chendul stall. We ordered 3 bowls of chendul @ RM 3.00 per bowl for 6 people to share.
We were still full from our seafood lunch.
Enjoying our bowl of chendul with ice shaving. Oops! No photo to show!
Someone is sticking her tongue out at the camera man! Lol!
No, we didn't order any fried noodle (chao kuey teow) this time.
We took a walk over to Komtar.

From Wikipedia: SuperStar Libra is a cruise ship owned and operated by Star Cruises. She was built in 1988 at Wartsila Marine Perno Shipyard in Turku. Finland as Seaward for Norwegian Cruise Line. In 1997 she was renamed Norwegian Sea, remaining in NCL fleet. In 2005, she was transferred to the fleet of Star Cruises. Capacity: 1,480 passengers; 740 cabins. Crew: 740

We can make a large horse turn around and

go wherever we want by means of a small bit in his mouth.

And a tiny rudder makes a huge ship turn wherever the pilot wants it to go,

even though the winds are strong.

So also the tongue is a small thing, but what enormous damage it can do.

A great forest can be set on fire by one tiny spark.

  3. Love joining you on these sort of posts, all so different to walking around France. The only cruise that we have been on I was so ill, the Dr said it was the air conditioning and that I should keep away from it. Not easy when the whole ship was air conditioned!! Take care Diane

    1. Hi Mun, there is no need to walk the plank. From the small boat, we were help over to the platform and then go up a short flight of steps into the ship.

  16. I went on a cruise once and it was star cruise also, but mine was superstar leo, which was supposed to be the largest of the entire fleet, i remembered my friend brought a book along and read it under the open sky and stars on the ship deck

    1. I didn't read a book under the open sky but I was thinking it would be nice sleeping under the open sky with the warm sea breeze blowing.
