I slept a bit better on the 2nd night on the cruise ship with less tossing and turning. Woke up early and prepared for the early morning walk. Hubby was not ready yet, so I went down alone to deck 6 for my early morning walk. Our cabin was on deck 7. I was alone walking the first few rounds before being joined by other early risers.
Slowly the sky lighted up and I took snapshots as I continued my walking rounds on the deck. I know I am going to miss walking on the deck with the wind blowing on me after our cruise trip.

7.10 am - Lighting up of the sky.
Just the sky and the sea - nothing else.
7.11 am - Thank God for calm sea.
As I made my walking rounds, it was interesting to note the changing colours and cloud formation of the morning sky.

7:14:10 am - the above is my favourite.
Sailing into a new horizon.

7:20:18 am - The best place is here on deck 6 facing the front, with the wind blowing on me.
7:20:37 am
7:33:17 am - thunderstorm ahead.
There were a few lighting flashes but didn't manage to catch any in the pictures.
7:33:27 am - thank God we were not heading towards the thunderstorm.

3rd day's breakfast - Western cuisine but only managed to take 2 photos.
Special toast bread with honey and jam.
Omelette with filling.
The rest were buffet style. Too busy eating and chatting to take photos.
I didn't take photos of lunch - also buffet style.

Disembarking from the ship
It was a hot day.
Tour vans waiting to pick up passengers
It was almost 4 pm and we have to be back by 8.30 pm the latest. Late re-boarding will be fined or the ship might leave without us!
Little islands.
We chose to walk the whole length of this bridge to look for a van to take us for a short, free and easy tour.
Dear friends,
God the Father chose you long ago and knew you would become his children.
And the Holy Spirit has been at work in your hearts,
cleansing you with the blood of Jesus Christ and making you to please him.
May God bless you richly and grant you increasing freedom from all anxiety and fear.
(1 Peter 1:2, The Living Bible-TLB)
Your thunderstorm ahead shot is gorgeous! Even in the pictures before that, I can see the rain streaks in the distance.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Ginny! Good thing we were not in the thunderstorm!
DeleteThe 'ground' portions of the tour are not included? There isn't much time to look for a van and arrange something.

DeleteI always hate when I have to disembark to every one of my cruises. How about you Nancy. I'm able to remember each one of my cruises because I have a photo book about each cruise. I usually take about 200 photos but I always get upset when I have leave the ship. Oh well, I just get ready for my next one. Cruisin, cruisin, cruisin. See ya my friend.
