After we have checked into our hotel rooms, some of us went for a walk as we have some time to spare before dinner. Here are some photos I have taken as we walk around near the hotel.
Wall mural of horses and pigeons nearby the hotel car park entrance.
Close up of the wall mural.
Front view of St Giles Wembley Premier Hotel, Penang.

Colourful row of shops
We passed by Hotel Jen
Lobby of Hotel Jen.
Giant size Malaysia Flag in one of the shopping mall.
Unique stools and table of a cafe in the shopping mall.
A closer look at the unique stools.
I think they are made from metal pails.
Looking down on the street below from an external panoramic glass elevator.
Roof tops of old prewar building.
These shops are still in use.
City view from the glass elevator.
Walking back to the hotel to meet up with the others.
This was our modest hotel room for 1 night stay.
We took a we-fie of ourselves at the hotel lobby while waiting for the others to get ready for dinner.
Dear friends, while you are waiting for these things to happen
and for him to come, try hard to live without sinning;
and be at peace with everyone so that
he will be pleased with you when he returns.
(2 Peter 3:14, The Living Bible-TLB)
The artwork on the front of the hotel is very interesting. It almost looks like writing. And I really love the colorful shops. I would have to go in each one!
