We pass by this way quite often and I noticed that a new restaurant has just taken over the previous one. The new restaurant is selling pan mee or ban mee, and it has a banner below the old signboard. This restaurant is in one of the shops facing Aeon Big, Falim, Ipoh.
The banner shows there is spicy ban mee (dry version) which we like.
So one Saturday morning, we came with friends to have breakfast here.
We were the first customers and we have to wait for them to be ready.
One of us ordered this bowl of fried noodle in soup.
The men ordered this spicy ban mee (dry version).
It has a soft boiled egg and served with this spicy sambal.
Instead of ordering ban mee, I changed my mind to order this drunken chicken soup with mee suah (soft noodle). It was good because of the generous amount of wine in the soup.

The following pictures are for joining Tuesday's Treasures & Image-in-ing.
An antique blue and white ceramic table and stools set.
Saw this table and stools set at a home for the aged.
We were there for a thanksgiving buffet dinner.
Linking to Tuesday's Treasures & Image-in-ing.
Let your roots grow down into Him and draw up nourishment from Him.
See that you go on growing in the Lord, and become strong
and vigorous in the truth you were taught.
Let your lives overflow with joy and
thanksgiving for all he has done.
(Colossians 2:7, The Living Bible-TLB)
This is the most beautiful table and stool set I've seen - it's so perfect in every way:)

ReplyDeleteWon't be comfortable but good for garden furniture.
DeleteOn a cold morning, I wouldn't mind the noodle soup. Your drunken chicken soup sounds good to me.
ReplyDeleteDrunken chicken soup is perfect for cold morning.
DeleteDelicious breakfast, lovely table. In fact, i've seen similar tables and i've always wanted to try sitting at one to see what it's like.
ReplyDeleteYou may find sitting on the hard stool not very comfortable.

Thank you, Sandee! Hope you had a great breakfast!
DeleteThe blue and white table and stools are lovely! They would look so pretty in the yard of a house that has blue trim. I always like when there are big pictures of what the menu dishes look like. Kind of rare around here to see that.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Ginny! The big menu makes it easier for customers to order their food.
DeleteHow I love the ceramic table and stools set!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Angie!
