Western Style Chicken Soup Specially Delivered To Us.

These days, after one round of walking at the recreational park I will be sweating away because there is hardly any breeze. Due to the warm weather, I have smaller appetite, but on Saturdays and Sundays minus the walking exercise, I will have better appetite.
I took a photo after breakfast one Saturday.
This is a view of a slow flowing river and some limestone hills.
I had this filling breakfast last Saturday.
It is flat rice noodle with egg thickened gravy (wat tan hor).
My Bauhinia Kockiana happily blooming.
My Bauhinia Kockiana seems to like the hot weather.

Later, in the evening a friend delivered a tub of Western style Chicken Soup to my house. It was specially cooked by her sister and her sister instructed her to send the soup to us.
The soup smelled nice and aromatic with the Western herbs.
So we ended up eating a Western style dinner. Chicken soup with garlic butter bread. I mixed some finely chopped garlic with butter, spread on the bread before toasting.
Thanks to my friend and her sister for this delicious soup.

It is better to eat soup with someone you love than
steak with someone you hate.

  21. I made Chinese style chicken soup the other night, it is so much thinner than what we are used to. Our soups are normally quite thick. Take care Diane
