Today is 85th day MCO and 1st day of Recovery MCO (10th June until 31st August). Life is almost back to normal but we still have to observe safety guidelines for our own safety.
Cockscombs in front of my house.
The cockscombs are getting bigger.
I took these snapshots of the Cockscombs before we started our morning walk.
~~~~~
Yesterday's breakfast
Our morning walk took us to our regular coffee shop. We stopped to take away a packet of fried rice vermicelli and then we walked back home, completing our walk. Hubby and I shared the above big plate of fried noodle.
~~~~~
Mid morning sweet snack
I took out 2 mini almond Magnum ice creams from the freezer.
One for hubby and one for me.
Th mini ice cream is sufficient to fix my craving for something sweet and creamy.
The above were harvested from my garden.
~~~~~
Home cooked dinner
I had the above packet of Tean's curry paste.
Delicious vegetable curry.
I used home grown snake beans, white eggplants and red okras. Other ingredients used were stuffed bean curd sheet, prawns, and tomatoes.
I have found a way to keep tomatoes fresh in the fridge. First, wrap the tomatoes individually with kitchen paper towel and place them in plastic bag. After 4 weeks, the tomatoes were still fresh and firm. Finally, no more rotten tomatoes from my fridge.
A plate of steamed multi grain rice for hubby to go with the vegetable curry. As for me, I had bread. I love bread dipped in curry gravy and I can eat lots of vegetables cooked in curry.
Cream White Jasmine flowers
A friend of mine will ask my permission to pluck these Jasmine flowers because of their sweet fragrance.
As far as God is concerned there is a sweet,
wholesome fragrance in our lives.
It is the fragrance of Christ within us,
an aroma to both the saved and the unsaved all around us.
(2 Corinthians 2:15, The Living Bible-TLB)
drooling over the curries....I can flood my rice with the gravy and enjoy it kaw kaw
