Lunch At Fukuzen Restaurant, Menglembu, Ipoh

This was a Tuesday. I have started to clear some of the overgrown plants in the front garden and it is now looking so much neater.

There is a self propagated pink/purple periwinkle plant which I left it to grow. Sometimes, I have white, pink and purple periwinkle plants sprouting out by itself.
I like this sweet colour and I hope the caterpillars will not come to feed on this plant.

A friend dropped by to visit me after a long while. We went out to a place which we both haven't been to: Fukuzen Restaurant in Menglembu, Ipoh.
I ordered the above Saba Shioyaki Zen (set lunch) @ RM19.80
This is one half of the fish.
My friend ordered the above Buta Shogayaki Zen @ RM14.80
Close up of the pork belly slices and mixed veggie.
Total lunch came to RM38.05 (inclusive 10% service tax)
View of the Kledang Hills after a heavy downpour for about 4 hours that afternoon.

My friend blessed me with the following items when she visited me.
When this good friend of mine heard that I was having some stomach issue, she brought me her dad's homemade remedy. This remedy helps to get rid of wind or gas and helps to warm up the stomach. After drinking this remedy, I do feel much better and my appetite is improving.
She also gave me some pre & probiotics and some protein nutri-mix meal.
Plus, she brought the above snacks (pistachio nuts and biscuits) for us too.

Linking to Skywatch Friday.

and a brother is born to help in time of need.

  1. Beautiful flowers! And the raindrops nearly steal the show.
Nice when friends visit. Oh, it´s so long I met my T in person - we WhatsApp every day, though. But I miss the IKEA brunches with him...
    Rainy here, too, and cold.
Your friend is really thoughtful - I love practical presents!
