Lunch & Shopping at Setia Ecohill Mall, Semenyih

On the 2nd day in Semenyih, we had lunch at Setia Ecohill and also to check out the newly opened Lulu Hypermarket. The whole day was gray and gloomy.

2 giant black ant sculptures.

As we walked further in, there is a beautiful horse sculpture.

I suppose this will be beautifully lit up in the dark.
We were here for a light lunch.
Menu.
2 plates of  Hakka Taro or Yam Abacus Seeds.
The abacus is made with yam and tapioca flour.
Sang Meen.
After lunch, we went to check out the newly opened Lulu Hypermarket.
It was raining heavily but we were able to walk under the covered way.

From my garden.
I was doing some cutting and trimming and this insect appeared from among the cuttings.
A sunrise at 7:45am from the month of August.

You made the moon to mark the seasons,
and the sun knows when to set.
You send the darkness, and it becomes night,
when all the forest animals prowl about.
Then the young lions roar for their prey,
stalking the food provided by God.
At dawn they slink back into their dens to rest.
Then people go off to their work,
where they labor until evening.

We were At Nova Highlands R&R, Cameron Highlands.

After checking out 10 places of accommodation on our "Hotel Tour" from Tringkap down to Tanah Rata, we finally went back to the 1st place on our check list. Nova Highland Resort & Residence is the newest of them all and everyone agreed on this place.
From our apartment balcony, on the right is the back view of Aranda Nova Resort & Residence with eateries and shops. The Nova apartment that we stayed in is behind this building. I forgot to take a snapshot of the apartment building.
View from our apartment balcony.
This is inside the apartment building. Walkway with apartments on both sides. The apartment has a master bedroom with attached bathroom, another 2 bedrooms sharing a common bathroom, a hall and a dry kitchen, a refrigerator, a microwave oven and a water kettle.
"Do Not" notification inside the lift.
Day and night view (front of The Square).
Children's playground across the road.
Nice garden decoration.

God blessed them and said to them,
"Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it.
Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and
over every living creature that moves on the ground."

Visit To The Paddock In Fraser's Hill.

We have visited the Paddock once many year ago. For this trip, we visited the Paddock again since it was a first time for the youngest in our group. It was a week day and the place was very quiet. We saw 2 cars parked on the road side outside the gate and the visitors' parking lot a short distance away was empty.
A short distance to walk after going through the gate.
One for our albums and one for my blog.
From afar, we saw 3 horses.
Warming up for one of the horses.
A horse ride experience for this young child.
For me and my photo taking friends, this Secret Garden got us curious. Secret or not, we had to take a look.
And look what we found in the Secret Garden! Giant red bracts/flowers.
These two were still upright with yellow flowers.
We also found some interesting plants in the garden.
Orchid flowers.

And we also found a green seed pot hanging from the Trumpet plant.

We intentionally had a group photo with this standing order for our sweet memories.

Another one at the Clock Tower, also in the same standing order. Why? To compare! Before our Fraser's Hill trip, our friend dug out an old photo and share it with us through whatsapp!

Here is a photo of the same 3 couples taken in 1998/1999 in Cameron Highlands. The difference is about 18 years. Can you see any differences after 18 years?

Once you were less than nothing; now you are God's own.
Once you knew very little of God's kindness;
now your very lives have been changed by it.

Critters And Wild Mushrooms From Fraser's Hill.

I have collected some critters and wild mushrooms shots during our short stay in Fraser's Hill. I hope you enjoy the photos. Some are very small critters and I hope you can see the critters.

The bees love these flowers and were so busy buzzing over them.
One for you and one for me!
Golden Shrimp or Lollipop plant.
Can you see the tiny critter?
Stop! Can't you see the ants crossing the concrete path!
This cute butterfly stayed long enough for me to take a snapshot of it.
Critter in a deep pink impatiens x hawkeri.
Dog behind the gate.
Horse from the Paddock.

When we slow down to take time to observe, we are able to see the beauty around us.

A person who is pure of heart sees goodness
and purity in everything;
but a person whose own heart is evil
and untrusting finds evil in everything,
for his dirty mind and rebellious heart color all he sees and hears.
