Beef Noodle And Agar-agar Mooncakes

This was another cloudy day.

Dawn at 7am.
Sunrise at 7:08am.
Sunrise at 7:10am.
Sunrise at 7:16am, partially blocked by the double storey building.
Sunrise at 7:24, partially blocked by clouds.
Cloudy morning at 7:50am.
Instead of the usual spicy fried beehoon, hubby bought spicy fried yellow noodle at RM2.
I chose to have oat porridge with Bru coffee.
Oat porridge with Brazilian spinach, almond slices & dried cranberry.

Lunch
Our neighbour went out to buy lunch and they bought beef noodle for us. They bought 2 portions of beef soup and 1 portion of noodle for us to share.
Flat rice noodle (koay teow) with beef and daikon.
Even with each of us eating half a portion of noodle, it was a very filling lunch.
The same neighbour blessed us with these agar-agar mooncakes.
We enjoyed these as our dessert.

Ingredients used: Cubed boneless chicken thigh, fresh oyster mushrooms teared into pieces, ginger slices, garlic, sesame oil, oyster sauce, soy sauce, salt and sugar to taste, spring onion.
Sauteed home grown angled luffa with dried shrimps and garlic.
Boiled salted eggs.
Our dinner with white rice porridge.

Come, let's talk this over, says the Lord;
no matter how deep the stain of your sins, I can take it out
and make you as clean as freshly fallen snow.
Even if you are stained as red as crimson,
I can make you white as wool!

Pork Rib Wonton Noodle, Bak Chang & Simple Home Cooked Dinner

Our favourite wonton noodle stall was closed when the movement control order was implemented. On Sunday night just before we retired for the night, I mentioned to hubby that about this wonton noodle. So early next morning, we cancelled our morning walk and drove out to town for the wonton noodle.

Due to the need for social distancing, we had to queue for about 15 minutes to be seated. We were seated 3 people to a table. Hubby ordered herbal tea and I ordered barley drink. We both ordered wonton noodle with pork rib and pork dumplings plus sui kow.
Wonton noodle with sourish pork rib.
1 sui kow and 5 pork dumplings (wontons) in soup.
Feeling satisfied after this yummylicious breakfast.
While I was watering the plants with a water hose, this insect came and settle on my hand.

Steamed minced pork with preserved vegetable (dong choy).

 Plain rice porridge for me.
Simple home cooked dinner for 2 people
My neighbour blessed us with this tray of agar-agar.
A ceramic lampstand and a nice stoneware tea set.
Took this snapshot at one of the restaurants we visited.

No one lights a lamp and hides it!
Instead, he puts it on a lampstand to give light
to all who enter the room.

I found this caterpillar feasting on my periwinkle leaves.

So let us feast upon him and grow strong in the Christian life,
leaving entirely behind us the cancerous old life
with all its hatreds and wickedness.
Let us feast instead upon the pure bread of honor
and sincerity and truth.
