Curry Noodle & Hakka Noodle For Breakfast At Lee Kitchen, Ipoh.

We haven't been to Lee Kitchen for 3 whole years. Recently a friend went there for breakfast and gave good review of the curry noodle that they have tasted. One morning we couldn't go for morning walk because it was drizzling, so we went to Lee Kitchen for breakfast.

It was early so the tables were not fully occupied.
We ordered a cup of unsweetened coffee.
While waiting for our orders, I bought 2 pieces of chai kuih (yam bean dumplings).
2 pieces of Chinese doughnuts (you tiao) for takeaway.
A bowl of curry noodle with flat rice noodle (koay teow).
For RM7, there is a lot of ingredients in this bowl of curry noodle (bbq pork, roast pork, tofu puff, a fish ball, a meat ball, pig's skin and etc.)
Hakka noodle with minced pork.
Meat balls and pork tendon ball.
Fried stuffed bean curd sheet items.
I think this is about RM6+.
By the time we finished our breakfast and was about to leave, all the tables were occupied.
There are many other stalls waiting for us to try.

Thanks for sharing a snapshot of the above beautiful moth

For if we are faithful to the end,
trusting God just as we did when we first became Christians,
we will share in all that belongs to Christ.

Hakka Noodle For Breakfast

I was up early. While waiting for hubby to wake up, I swept the front of my house.

Every morning there will be some dry leaves and flower petals on the floor shed by the Bauhinia Kockiana plants.
Sunrise at 7:20am and pigeons on the telephone cables.
7:21am
7:23am.
~~~~~
Hubby wanted to have breakfast in Menglembu but found the shop closed. We decided to drive out to town and ended up at a coffee shop selling Hakka noodles. The first time we came here was in 2018 and after about 4 years, we didn't know what to expect.
Chinese tea for hubby and kopi-C for me.
As you can see the Chinese tea is very diluted.
I ordered the above ingredients for us to share.
1 piece stuffed brinjal or eggplant and 4 pieces of stuffed bean curd sheet. The stuffed bean curd sheet were cold and no longer crispy.
2 fish balls, 2 meat balls and 1 stuffed non-fried tofu.
2 plates of Hakka noodle with pork topping.
The only thing we enjoyed here is the noodle. I don't know why I chose this place because on our drive back home, I remembered another place which serves much better Hakka noodle. So, this 2nd visit will be our last.
And remember, it is a message to obey, not just to listen to.
So don't fool yourselves.
For if a person just listens and doesn't obey,
he is like a man looking at his face in a mirror;
as soon as he walks away, he can't see himself anymore or
remember what he looks like.
But if anyone keeps looking steadily into God's law for free men,
he will not only remember it but he will do what it says,
and God will greatly bless him in everything he does.
Chicken Herbal Soup & Fried Rice For Dinner
Time really flies. Even though we are under MCO, the days, weeks, and months seems to pass by so quickly. Even though there is nothing exciting happening, I wouldn't say that life is boring for us. Every morning we look forward to our morning walk. After breakfast, I will spend some time in the garden. Housework, blogging and blog hopping, and etc. will take up a portion of my time. The amount of tasks accomplished will depend on my mood. It all depends on whether I am diligent or in lazy mode. Okay, back to my post.
Sunrise at 7:10am
7:15am
We need to take the car out because we want to buy takeaway breakfast with the food carrier.
Hakka noodle with stewed sweet sour pork trotter for hubby @ RM5.80
Mee sua with pork + daikon + peppercorn soup for me @ RM5.
Both the noodles were bought from the same stall.
 4 pieces of yam bean fritters @ 90 cents per piece.
We bought these from another shop.
We kept these for our lunch.
When it comes to food, so thankful that we are spoiled for choice.
Steamed fresh corn mixed with butter and salt for lunch.
Dinner
Herbal chicken soup
Ingredients used: 1 free range chicken, yuk chuk (Solomon's seal), goji berries, and red dates.
Fried Rice with onions, dried shrimps, and eggs.
I don't have leftover rice in the fridge so I pre-steamed the rice in the afternoon.
Condiments: Bird's eye chilies in soy sauce and spicy dried shrimp.
I love fried rice with chilies in soy sauce.
Because of his kindness,
you have been saved through trusting Christ.
And even trusting is not of yourselves;
it too is a gift from God.
Salvation is not a reward for the good we have done,
so none of us can take any credit for it.
Hakka Noodle With Stewed Pork Leg & Steamed Egg With Minced Meat
There was a heavy downpour in the wee hours of the morning. When we woke up, there was no rain. The weather was nice and cool.
6:55am - starting out on our morning walk.
Quiet street with occasional car or motorcycle passing by.
Our Bauhinia Kockiana in full bloom this season.
Our walk facing west.
Birds also follow sop by social distancing.
A rainbow in the sky.
~~~~~
After morning walk, we drove out to buy breakfast.
We bought 2 sets of Hakka noodle.
Hakka noodle topped with beansprout and minced meat with mushroom.
1 set with stewed pork leg with daikon (savoury plus sourish).
1 set with the normal meat balls and fish cakes in soup.
Purple bougainvillea by the roadside in front of someone's house.
~~~~~
Home cooked dinner
Sauteed broccoli, carrot and home grown cauliflower with garlic and flavoured with oyster sauce and salt to taste.
Steamed minced meat, chicken eggs and salted egg.
This is my childhood's favourite.
Whenever I was not feeling well, mom will make this special dish for me.
Simple yet satisfying dinner for 2 people.
Reflection of sunset from my side garden - 7:35pm.
Slowly turning from orange to pink.
Don't be conceited, sure of your own wisdom.
Instead, trust and reverence the Lord,
and turn your back on evil; when you do that,
then you will be given renewed health and vitality.
