Chicken Rendang For Lunch At Classic Mealody Kopitiam, Falim

We came to know of Classic Melody Kopitiam through a friend. Hubby and I decided to give this place a try.

This high rise building is facing the Fair Mart, Falim.

Assam Laksa, Mee Siam & Nyonya Kuih For Lunch.

Just as I was thinking of making a cup of hot drink for lunch, hubby mentioned that he was hungry and asked me whether I wanted anything to eat. I was going to answer no when suddenly I answered, "yes, let us go to this new place". And that was how we were at this new place in Canning Garden without any planning on our part.

We came to know of this new place through a friend. Once we were seated, we were handed a menu and informed that we have to order and pay at the counter. The food will be delivered to our table. Service was quite fast.

 Assam Laksa was my choice. Yummy, with generous amount of fish meat.

 Mee Siam with Curry Chicken for hubby. Taste good too.

 I do not want to leave this place without trying out their Nyonya kuih. Greedy me!

 I love to chew on the wheat grain. It was to my liking, not very sweet.

Dinner With Old Friends.

Last month, we had a dinner date with some old friends. Initially, I thought of going to a Chinese restaurant but it is usually very crowded at peak dinner time. So we ended up at Pete Corner in Menglembu. This was the first experience for my friends at this place.
