Dinner At Anderson Curry House, Ipoh.

A friend suggested Indian bread for dinner because none of us feel like eating rice. So we arranged to meet at The Andersonian's Club at 6 pm.
Hubby and I arrived earlier than our friend. The menu states 6 pm but we were told that it is only ready at 6.30 pm.
Big tree in the compound.
We were invited to take a seat while waiting for our friend to reach, which she did shortly after.
We were the earliest customers and I used the time for taking some snapshots.
 View facing the Anderson School.
A painting of the Anderson School clock tower on the wall of the club.
This was also found on the wall of the club.
A wooden screen with carved designs shielding the doorway to the washrooms.
 The Menu.
 Sizzling Tandoor Chicken
 Aloo Gobi
Cauliflower and potatoes - mildly spiced.
 Dhall Tadkha - Lentil specialty.
Kashmiri Naan
Stuffed with mixed fruits and nuts.
Keema Naan
Stuffed with spicy minced lamb
Garlic Naan - topped with chopped garlic.
Hubby and I used to love garlic naan but after tasting the other stuffed naan, the garlic naan tasted plain.
This picture was before the last naan order arrived at the table.
We should have stopped at these but I underestimated the size of the naan.
Turned out that we couldn't finish all the naan and the chicken.
What we couldn't finished were all packed for the next day's lunch.

And I am sure that God who began the good work within you
will keep right on helping you grow in his grace
until his task within you is finally finished
on that day when Jesus Christ returns.

Hearty Dinner At The Spice Kitchen Restaurant, Johor Bahru.

On the second evening, our friends took us to The Spice Kitchen restaurant which serves Indian Chinese and Indian Thai cuisine. It is a popular restaurant where customers have to wait to be seated. After waiting for some time, we were led to a table for 5 people. I don't know the exact name for the dishes but I will share the photos of what we ate for dinner that evening.
A spread of Indian Chinese, Indian Thai cuisine.

Another Chicken dish
 Fruitie Indian bread

 Garlic Naan
Spicy and sour soup (veggie, mushrooms, etc.)
A dish with potatoes
A creamy curry dish
I think this is mutton curry
A spinach with cheese cream, etc.
We had sky juice filled in this glass with handle.
Thanks to our friends for this delicious dinner.

The following photos are for joining Saturday's Critters.
This photo was captured by a friend who stopped beside this motorcyclist at a traffic light junction. Can you see the big lizard riding on the shoulder of the motorcyclist?
Can you see this lizard relaxing on my Jambu or Guava branch?
Then it came to pose for me! Just look at the long tail!
It even waited for me to snap a close up.
So proud to show off itself!

Linking to Saturday's Critters.

For what is it we live for, that gives us hope and joy
and is our proud reward and crown? It is you!
Yes, you will bring so much joy as we stand together
before our Lord Jesus Christ when he comes back again.

Sunday Fellowship Lunch At Tandoori Grill, Ipoh.

Just after last Sunday's celebration ended, a church friend approached us to invite us out for lunch. It is not always possible for us to have lunch together because some have to provide transport for those without transport. And for last Sunday, my church friends were available and it was a wonderful chance to gather for lunch and fellowship.
The one who invited us for lunch is the youngest of the four of us. She wanted to give us a treat at Restoran Tandoori Grill as none of us has been there before.
The outside looks neat and clean. No problem with parking as we were the 1st customers for lunch.
I am always the one who is taking my own sweet time with my camera.
Some useful information, if you are interested.
More information to take note.
Address: 9, Jalan Chin Choon San, Greentown,

As we passed through the main doorway, we were greeted by this art piece.
We had the whole place to ourselves. Choosing a comfy table for 4 people.
Since we were the only customers, I took a few snapshots before the other customers came in.
Floral arrangement.
Framed art piece on the wall.
Another framed art piece.
A corner of the restaurant.
We had plenty of time to go through the menu.
Crispy thin Papadum served with mint sauce.

but fools detest turning from evil.
