Glad that we could go for our walking exercise on this particular morning. We have been skipping morning walk because it has been raining or drizzling most mornings.

A Surprise Gift From An Unknown Person
I am sharing this morning sky from June, 2022.
These days, most of the morning sky are gloomy.
Garlic vine flowers by the roadside on our morning walk.
~~~~~
We had breakfast at Restoran Double Three, Menglembu new township.
Hubby ordered dry curry noodle with 2 fried dumplings and...
3 pieces of fried fish cakes in clear soup.
I ordered toast with butter and kaya.
Breakfast for 2 people.
~~~~~
Later in the morning, I received a call from an unlisted caller. It was from a florist making a delivery and was waiting outside our house. Hubby went out to attend to the person.
A few minutes later, hubby came into the house with the above. We checked the card and instead of a name, it was written as "Guess ???". Who could it be? It took a while for hubby to guess. The sender is a friend who has settled down overseas and wanted to spring a surprise on us. Thank you, friend for your lovely gift.
~~~~~
We had a lunch appointment with a friend who was back from Kuala Lumpur for a 2 weeks holidays. We went to a food court near her house.
I ordered a pot of briyani rice to share with hubby.
~~~~~
After a heavy lunch, we only wanted something light for dinner.
Hubby and I shared this big plate of blanched beansprouts with scrambled eggs, drizzled with garlic oil, oyster and soy sauce.

Fish & Chicken Nasi Briyani At Vighna Bamboo Briyani
One day around lunch time, I received a call from a friend. She invited hubby and I to join her and a friend for lunch at Vighna Bamboo Briyani. Since we just had our lunch, we declined and thanked her for her invitation. I told her that since she enjoyed the food so much, we will go the next day. True to our words, we were there for lunch the next day with 2 other friends.
I happened to be seated opposite this "Love" sign hanging on the wall.
The ladies ordered mango lassi while the men had plain water.
We ordered 2 types of Bamboo briyani for us to share.
This was how it was served.
Out came the nasi briyani wrapped with banana leaf.
Chicken briyani.
Fish briyani
Cucumber raita (cucumber with yogurt).
4 pieces of fried chicken.
Total bill for the above items came to RM63.00 for 4 people.

We were seated near to this fish tank.
Flower horn fish is believed to bring good luck to its owner. This fish has a lifespan of 10 to 12 years. Flower horn fish is aggressive and if released to the wild, they become invasive pests.

And even we Christians, although
we have the Holy Spirit within us as a foretaste of future glory,
also groan to be released from pain and suffering.
We, too, wait anxiously for that day when God will give us
our full rights as his children, including the new bodies he has
promised us - bodies that will never be sick again and will never die.

Chee Cheong Fun, Nasi Briyani & White Bitter Gourd
On this particular morning, it was nice and cool. There was a heavy downpour the previous night after weeks of hot and humid weather.
View of Kledang Hill, the top shrouded with mist - 7:45am.
~~~~~
After morning walk, we drove out to buy breakfast.
We bought 2 sets of Hong Kong chee cheong fun which is steamed rice rolled noodle with bbq pork and prawn filling. It is served with soy sauce, onion oil, sesame seeds and chili sauce.
We also bought RM15 roast pork from the next stall.
We don't have chili sauce for dipping so we opened a bottle of dried shrimp chili crisp which a friend bought and gave to us.
This dried shrimp chili is very nice and good to eat with noodles or fried rice.
We put aside a few pieces of roast pork for breakfast and kept the rest of the roast pork in the fridge for dinner.
This hibiscus plant was attacked and infested with a type of orange fungus. To get rid of the fungus, I have not choice but to bald the whole plant by trimming off all the branches. At the same time, I transferred it into a bigger pot. I hope it can be saved and grow new branches.
For lunch, we had nasi briyani with spicy fried chicken drumstick.
We shared this big portion of rice with 2 chicken drumsticks.
We had iced fresh lemon with honey drink.
I bought this white bitter gourd for RM3.90 from the chee cheong fun stall in the morning. I was hoping to get some seeds to grow this white bitter gourd again.
For dinner, I cooked white bitter gourd with roast pork.
Dinner consisting of white bitter gourd with roast pork, leftover ABC soup from the previous day, and steamed rice.
Let me rejoice in the joy of your people;
let me praise you with those who are your heritage.
The rainy season is here and right now, it is raining outside as I sit here putting up my post.
Dawn at 6:55am
No morning walk on this particular morning because there was a slight drizzle and dark sky over us.
Sunlight shining through the dark clouds - 7:45am
We were informed by our friend that we needn't have to worry about getting lunch. Food will be delivered to our house come lunch time.
Special Nasi Briyani for lunch!
There are pieces of chicken, 1 hard boiled egg and sambal wrapped together with the flavoured rice.
Papadam crackers in a plastic bag.
Fried bitter gourd and eggplant.
Gourd sambal.
We also received "mango lassi" (creamy fresh mango with tangy yogurt) in the above plastic cups.
We have been wanting to dine-in at Balans Corner to enjoy this special nasi briyani. Instead, someone is so thoughtful and kind to deliver the nasi briyani direct to our house. Hubby and I shared a packet of nasi briyani for lunch and kept the other packet for dinner. Thanks to our friends, we get to enjoy the promotional nasi briyani for lunch and dinner.
My garden had a pretty visitor.
After a long spell, this pretty dragonfly decided to pay us a visit.
Roast Chicken, Nasi Briyani & Blanched Vegetable
On Friday evening, a friend texted me to inform that she has ordered a roast chicken for me and hubby, and will be sending it over to my house on Saturday afternoon.
Sunrise at 7:43am, on our way home from morning walk.
~~~~~
My friend not only sent the roast chicken, she also added a packet of nasi briyani and her son added a deep fried chicken drumstick for hubby and I.
For dinner, I warmed up the roast chicken and the 2 fried chicken drumsticks in the oven. The chicken drumsticks were packed together with the nasi briyani, so I have to removed them from the rice.
I warmed up the nasi briyani and the hard boiled egg separate from the chicken, also in the oven.
I blanched the above green vegetables (given by another friend).
Our dinner, blessed by 2 friends.
Hubby and I shared the nasi briyani. We finished everything including the 2 chicken wings and a drumstick from the roast chicken. The remaining roast chicken was kept in the fridge for the next day's dinner.
