On this particular morning, it was nice and cool. There was a heavy downpour the previous night after weeks of hot and humid weather.

After morning walk, we drove out to buy breakfast.
We bought 2 sets of Hong Kong chee cheong fun which is steamed rice rolled noodle with bbq pork and prawn filling. It is served with soy sauce, onion oil, sesame seeds and chili sauce.
We also bought RM15 roast pork from the next stall.
We don't have chili sauce for dipping so we opened a bottle of dried shrimp chili crisp which a friend bought and gave to us.
This dried shrimp chili is very nice and good to eat with noodles or fried rice.
We put aside a few pieces of roast pork for breakfast and kept the rest of the roast pork in the fridge for dinner.
This hibiscus plant was attacked and infested with a type of orange fungus. To get rid of the fungus, I have not choice but to bald the whole plant by trimming off all the branches. At the same time, I transferred it into a bigger pot. I hope it can be saved and grow new branches.
For lunch, we had nasi briyani with spicy fried chicken drumstick.
We shared this big portion of rice with 2 chicken drumsticks.
We had iced fresh lemon with honey drink.
I bought this white bitter gourd for RM3.90 from the chee cheong fun stall in the morning. I was hoping to get some seeds to grow this white bitter gourd again.
For dinner, I cooked white bitter gourd with roast pork.
Dinner consisting of white bitter gourd with roast pork, leftover ABC soup from the previous day, and steamed rice.

Remember me, LORD,
when you show favor to your people;
come near and rescue me.
Let me share in the prosperity of your chosen ones.
Let me rejoice in the joy of your people;
let me praise you with those who are your heritage.
(Psalm 106:4-5, New Living Translation-NLT)

Thank you, Lovely.
DeleteChee cheong fun looks good but it's your nasi bryani that got me craving. Our favourite place here opens at noon, so late - if I tapao, I probably would get home by 1, would have starved to death by then, so hungry.
ReplyDeleteThis stall starts preparing their food early in the morning and by mid morning the food are all ready.
DeleteMy grandmother has a sewing machine similar to that but grandma's was larger used to love sewing on it when a child.
ReplyDeleteLike the first photo it's intriguing.

DeletePray that the hibiscus plant is ok and grow well in the new pot and also for the white bitter gourd seeds to grow. 🙏🙏🙏 Kledang Hills look so majestic with its top in clouds. Can cars go up to the top of Kledang Hills?
ReplyDeleteThere is a radio transmission station up there, so cars can go up there.

DeleteThe bitter gourd looks small but seems to have produced a decent plate of veg. I have only seen these in Jaya grocer at an exorbitant price.
ReplyDeleteI prefer the white ones compared to the green ones especially the texture and not bitter.
DeleteTengo un hibisco igual que el tuyo. Besos.
