This was a Friday night. We had just finished our dinner with friends and were on our way home. Our friend took the road that pass by the People's Park in Ipoh old town. People's Park is usually dark in the night but that night I noticed that the place was lighted up. We were curious to find out what it was all about. Our friend parked the car a short distance away and we walked over to the People's Park.

Sorry about the poor quality of the photos because I was using my handphone camera.
According to one of the stalls owner, the night market is open only on weekends.
This night market is not very crowded probably because not many people know about it. We didn't buy anything because we just had our dinner.
This used to be a BBQ Lamb restaurant but now occupied by Chang Jiang White Coffee. Okay, let's go by the main entrance to take a look inside.
A traditional Chinese marriage carriage or bridal sedan chair.
Display of a low wooden dining table with low wooden chairs.
An old fashioned hand powered water pump.
Barber chairs.
Rattan chair.
Rattan baby cot.
An old fashioned weaving wooden loom.
Looks very completed to me.
I wonder if this type of weaving loom is still in use today.
