Kopitiam Loong Chee is at the opposite end (same row of shop houses) of Kafe Tung Lo Wan, mentioned in one of my older post. Again, this place is also recommended by the same friend. Indeed it is a place that serves tasty food at a reasonable price. Leaving the place feeling fully satisfied!
Location: Lintasan Kledang Timur 8, Bandar Baru Menglembu, Ipoh.
We ordered a small plate of grouper slices stir-fried with ginger slices and scallions or green onions.
A small plate of prawn omelette.
And a plate of sweet potato leaves stir-fried with sambal belacan (shrimp paste).
Total cost of dinner for 2 person : MYR 24.50
(including a plate of white rice and a glass of Chinese tea)
What say you? Is the price reasonable or very reasonable?

DeleteI think the food looks okay. But just for 3 dishes at that price, I don't think its worth it la. After all its only a kopitim...not cafe.
ReplyDeleteHi Billy, its nice to hear from you again. Initially I too thought its a bit expensive but then I realized that the prices of fish and prawns has increased. So I think I can accept the rate even though its only a kopitiam. Probably next year the price might be higher than this.
