The festive season is here!!!

People from all walks of life are somewhat caught up one way or the other in celebrating this Christmas festive season. Many would have already placed their booking with hotels, restaurants or fine diners for their Christmas eve dinner or Christmas day brunch with their loved ones or just to pamper themselves for working so hard the whole year long. And for those of us who have yet to make up our mind on how and where to celebrate our Christmas season, we have a new addition to our list to choose from.
We, Ipohites have in our midst a newly opened WEIL HOTEL and it is serving up one of the most extensive culinary feasts in town for Christmas eve dinner and Christmas day brunch. WEIL Hotel is offering a widespread selection of merry temptations at the All-Day Dining Restaurant-TIFFIN and Chinese Restaurant-YUK SOU HIN.

Last week I had the privilege and honor, and to my pleasure to be invited to the food tasting event by this hotel.
WEIL HOTEL is situated just beside Ipoh Parade and directly opposite Sam Tet School, not forgetting my old school SMK Convent Ipoh (Main Convent) which is next to Ipoh Parade. They are all located along Jalan Sultan Idris Shah (formerly Brewster Road).

When we arrived, the media personnel were all busy aiming, zooming and clicking their cameras away on the "Merry Temptations" that were on display.
WEIL Hotel's merry temptations include:
  • a scrumptious line of ice crustacean bar which includes Yabby, Slipper Lobster, Black Mussel and Fan Scallop,
  • a carving station consisting Roasted Prime Rib of Beef, Roasted Chicken and Honey Glazed Turkey Ham served with the hotel's house-made sauces,
  • the Cioppino Seafood Stew featuring Chef's secret recipe with ingredients consisting of fresh king prawn, scallop, squid and black mussel.
  • a huge array of mouth-watering dessert selections.

  • From 15 December 2014 onward, festive bakes such as Christmas Chocolate Figurines, Christmas Cookies, Traditional German Gingerbread, Stollen, pies, cakes, puddings, etc. to be enjoyed in the comfort of your home.
  • Christmas roast of Chef's signature recipe, e.g. Roasted Australian Beef Striploin, Roast Whole Chicken and Roast Lamb Crown can also be purchased at WEIL Hotel. All roast are accompanied with fragrantly roasted herb potato, roasted pumpkin, creamed Brussel sprouts, mushroom chestnut stuffing with homemade rosemary sauces.
  • Guests are more than welcome to purchase the festive bakes and Christmas roast for family members, friends or even as gifts for corporate clients.

I can still remember the unique "apple sauce", it tasted so super.

Cooked with love, to bring out the best flavour - just for you.

Creamed Brussel Sprout - excellent, you will crave for more.

Sprinkling the joy with a wide array of festive bakes and a dash of sweet ending consisting of huge array of mouth-watering dessert selections.

I have to admit that being my first time to attend such an event, I was very excited to have the chefs sitting with us and having the opportunity to ask questions that I forgot to jot down the names of all the mouth-watering food served to us.
Open kitchen restaurant - interesting to see the chefs at work. Maybe we can learn some tips if we watch closely.

This is a wonderful opportunity to see the media personnel at work and for me to be a part of such a yummy, delicious tasting event.
We were all seated and served individually, getting to taste the selected "Merry Temptations" that excite our taste buds!

    1. I still haven't decided yet. I would love to go back and try the whole range of food there.
