BREAKFAST AT RESTORAN TET SHIN, IPOH

This morning we woke up with joy in our hearts because our long-time friends are coming to Ipoh! Its been quite a while since we last had our close and meaningful fellowship. So this morning, instead of our usual four rounds of morning walk, we cut it short to only three rounds. From there, we went for our breakfast before we returned to our humble home to wait and receive our "VVIP" guests. It's not often we get to have them with us for a whole day of fellowship before they leave for their home after dinner.

My husband decided to have our breakfast at Restoran Tet Shin, Ipoh. Before my retirement, my ex-colleagues and I used to frequent this place for our breakfast. After my retirement, sometimes I still get to meet some of my ex-colleagues who still frequent this place. Every morning this place is filled with customers. If we go before 7.30 in the morning, parking will not be a problem. There are about seven to eight stalls to order from - you can order chee cheong fun, porridge, fried noodles, Hakka mee, wanton mee, curry mee, sandwiches, nasi lemak, etc.

As usual, my hubby will order from the wanton mee stall. This is his order.
A plate of wanton mee with chicken meat and mushroom strips, serve with mustard.
3 wantons in a bowl with clear soup. I can't remember whether the above noodle with wanton is MYR 4.50 OR MYR 4.30.

For me, this morning I wanted to have steamed glutinous chicken rice. Ooops! I was so hungry I forgot to take photo, so here is what I have for breakfast. Lol! This is MYR 3.30
Nescafe for me and Chinese tea for him.

The law of the LORD is perfect, reviving the soul.
The statutes of the LORD are trustworthy, making wise the simple.
The precepts of the LORD are right, giving joy to the heart.
The commands of the LORD  are radiant,
giving light to the eyes.

  1. Indeed a very nice breakfast. Both orders I like and what not, with a cup of nescafe/tea to drown down everything.
