Whenever we feel like eating Fried "Gold Noodle" for breakfast, we will go to Restoran Sin Lean Lee in Ipoh old town. This restaurant is situated at a cross junction, with its front at Jalan Panglima and its side at Jalan Bandar Timah.
The first stall from the front is the Fried "Gold Noodle" stall. A plate of fried "Gold Noodle" is a very small portion, just enough for a small eater. Some customers would ask for additional noodle. I think that is why it is called "Gold Noodle". Just relying on a plate of "Gold Noodle" is not enough for us and we will have to order some stuffed goodies to add on.
Besides these two stalls, there is the third stall selling Chee Cheong Fun, Glutinous Rice with Kaya (coconut & egg jam). The fourth stall sells Prawn Noodle. The fifth stall sells Laksa, etc. Sometimes we will add a plate of glutinous rice with kaya. The prawn noodle from the fourth stall is good too.
Hubby's fried flat rice noodle with prawns and egg.
Chinese Tea - 1 Gold Coin glass for hubby, #1 glass for me.
Wishing everyone a Happy & Blessed Chinese New Year 2015!
Gong Xi, Gong Xi!
He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver;
He will purify the Levites and refine them like gold and silver.
Then the LORD will have men who will bring offerings in righteousness,
and the offerings of Judah and Jerusalem will be acceptable
to the LORD, as in days gone by, as in former years.
(Malachi 3:3-4, New International Version-NIV)
