We have passed by this restaurant many times but somehow we have never paid much attention to it. Last week, my hubby drove past this place again and I noticed that the restaurant was packed with customers. I mentioned to my hubby that by the number of customers there, this place is worth trying out.
I have only two more weeks to prepare for Chinese New Year. This year, Chinese New Year falls on Thursday, 19th February 2015. I want to make some Chinese New Year goodies and I have to start making them before I start on the house cleaning. Making these Chinese New Year goodies used up a lot of my time. Or is it because I am slowing down, no longer working as fast as I used to do? So for the time being, I would not be cooking dinner and would be eating out more often.
1st evening, after spending the few hours peeling and frying arrowhead chips (nga ku), we came to this restaurant to have our dinner, which is our first try. All the tables were occupied by customers except one small table at the 5 foot way, just in front of the restaurant, which is just nice for the two of us.
Even the restaurant has put up the "yee sang/lo hei" banner, preparing for the festive celebration. This restaurant will be preparing set dinner for the Chinese New Year even reunion dinner. Nowadays, many families have opted to hold their reunion dinner in restaurants.
The restaurant's signature dishes on the wall.
When we asked the waitress about their fish dishes, she recommended Clay Pot Red Tilapia Fish, cooked in special sauce. My hubby and I like this dish, something different from the usual steamed fish. MYR 22 (approx. 6.20 USD). Total cost of dinner MYR 27.70 (incl. rice and drinks).

Blessed are those who have learned to acclaim You,
who walk in the light of Your presence, O LORD.
They rejoice in Your name all day long;
they exult in Your righteousness.
(Psalm 89:15-16, New International Version-NIV)
