Dinner With Old Friends.

Last month, we had a dinner date with some old friends. Initially, I thought of going to a Chinese restaurant but it is usually very crowded at peak dinner time. So we ended up at Pete Corner in Menglembu. This was the first experience for my friends at this place.

Below were our orders for our dinner.
Russian Chicken - MYR 17 (approx. 4.03 USD)
Mint Lamb - MYR 18 (approx. 4.27 USD)
Herbal Cheese Chicken - MYR 17 (approx. 4.03 USD)
Special Grill Lamb - MYR 18 (approx. 4.27 USD)
Stew Lamb Shank - MYR 26 (approx. 6.17 USD)
Siam Fried Yellow Noodle - MYR 5 (approx. 1.19 USD)
There is a change of business hours.

Today I am joining Tuesday Treasures at Tom's.
I hope the photos below are suitable for linking up with Tuesday Treasures.
This mini portable fan has been with me for more than 38 years.
It was presented to me by my hubby when I was working in Kuala Lumpur.
Now I am still using this fan in my kitchen.
A neglected and abandoned house.

Linking to Tuesday Treasures.

In the last days, the mountain of the LORD's house
will be the highest of all - the most important place on earth.
It will be raised above the other hills,
and people from all over the world will stream there to worship.

  6. Like the food photos and really like the old fan. It is a real collectors item. It is amazing that it is still running. They just do not make things today like they used to. Back then things were made to last. Thanks for sharing all of the pictures.

    1. I agree about old things made to last because I have newer fans that are no more working.

Love that old fan. I have an electric razor that I've had since the early 70s and it still works. I use it once a week.

    Have a fabulous day. ☺

    1. Hello Sharon, not many will go for the lamb. Most will choose chicken.

  13. Great photos of the limestone hill. The food looks like similar to what we see here. Your fan is a treasure and like someone said, they don't make anything to last now and everything ends up at the dumps or recycling. It's too bad.
    Have a great day Nancy.
    Hugs,

  14. I prefer to eat lamb than chicken. So sad to see houses being abandoned. Can't the owner sell it instead if they don't want it?

    1. Hi Mun, I love both lamb and chicken. It is a waste to just abandoned the property.

  29. I came to get my unusual food fox and instead found this verry American and normal (for me) food. Still looks yummy. And that cliff-wow. What is in the bottom of it-it looks like there is a little cave or something? Hugs to you.

    1. At the bottom of the cliff is a cave which is turned into temple.
