Lunch At Restoran Baru Lau Kai Ikan Sungai, Sauk.

After a short drive around the place, we noticed most of the eatery were not opened yet. We then came to this eatery that is next to the entrance gate of Kampung Baru Sauk. This is the Restoran Baru Lau Kai Ikan Sungai along the main road. Friend B saw this on Facebook and she did some homework on this eatery.
It was a bright, sunny day.
There is not much traffic on the main road.
These were media reports on the restaurant.
Food pictures on the wall.

Steamed fresh water Wolf Herring's belly (Sai Toh Yu lam) with sweet, spicy sauce.

Dear brothers, if a Christian is overcome by some sin,
you who are godly should gently and
humbly help him back onto the right path,
remembering that next time it might be
one of you who is in the wrong.

  11. I had never heard of wolf herring and had to go look it up. From looking the pieces of wolf herring in your dish, I thought it was a very small fish but instead, it has a long body as compare to the true herring. I bet it was delicious. I love fish and seafood.
    Have a nice Sunday.
