Dinner With Friends At Restoran Hung Ting, Ipoh.

Last week, we played host to our dear friends from Seremban. They arrived in the afternoon on Monday, spent a night with us and left for home the next day. It was a short trip for them and we hope to meet up again next month.
I was in no mood to cook dinner especially with such hot weather.
Captured some lovely sunset photos to share with you.
Time to get ready for dinner.
We brought our friends out for dinner at our favourite restaurant. The place was packed with customers and we were just in time to get a vacant table near the entrance. Below were our orders for 6 people.

Steamed Herbal Chicken. Very flavourful.
3 Flavours Pork Rib - very appetizing with lots of garlic, preserved salted black beans, curry leaves, etc. Goes well with white rice.
Young and tender baby french beans stir fried with salted egg.
"Kong Po" Mantis Prawns with dried chilies, onions and spring onions.
Another of our favourite dish - Grouper fish slices in wine and goji berries soup.
Restoran Hung Ting,
Lengkuk Desa Rishah 1, Desa Rishah, 30100 Ipoh.
Tel.: 012-417 8997. Off day: Every Friday.
Business Hours: 11.30 am - 3.00 pm, 5.30 pm - 9.45 pm.

  2. I looked at your scenery photos before you said it was hot and I thought that it was really hot. Looks like the sun here in the summer on those humid days. Hope it has cooled off a little bit, but that food looks yummy so it must have been good to go out. Hugs!

  5. Yummy food. I would dig in the grouper soup as well as the herbal chicken. Please take care. Heard of serious health problem caused by heatwave in Peninsular.

  8. Wow, it's hot where you are... It's 2°C. here at the moment and raining. I can't blame you for not wanting to cook in that heat. What is that dark blue stuff in your grouper fish dish? Grouper fish is a big fish. I don't think it's available around here.
I hope it cools off. Have a great day Nancy.

This seems to be a nice place to go. Although I'm allergy to fresh prawns, I can see that the saucey Kong Po Mantis Prawns is very yummy :)

  23. I'm amazed you know so many good places to go!

My parents would go to the same places every time we ate out once a week - guess I picked up on this habit.
